Good for you guys. Most of my friends never smoked, but I'm trying to turn them on to vaping low nic juice so I'm not vaping alone lol. They spend so much money at the hookah bar almost everyday, not realizing (no matter how many times I tell them) that there is still nicotine in the shisha. With a 6mg juice, they'd save money and I'd have more vaping buddies haha

Vaping was once a tool used to stop smoking for 98% of us. Now it is just a hobby, once you kick the habit you just get sucked in to the cool and new things you can do. The community is just awesome as well.

Just remember, 0% nic and you are good to go! There is no 'rule' for non smokers not to vape. Keep an extra bottle of 6/8mg eliquid with you for those stressful times, along with maybe a dripping atomizer? This way you don't have to carry a tank dedicated to a % nic when you usually vape 0%.

Yes it will work. I might recommend getting a nice glass tank? Or look into the aspire clearo tank? I am using one right now and it is a really really really good inexpensive tank. 1.8 ohms - lots of vapor and great taste - and it's bottom coil! flavors are better and it wicks a lot better imo.

But yes, that liquid will work with those cartomizers.

^glassomizer, if you like citrus blends of eliquid or liquids that crack tanks and don't mind spending a little bit of money for something that will last..look into that.

^using it right now with a stainless steel tank I put on. Works very well. I love it

Only problem with that is that Halo Triton's use a semi-proprietary 808 thread instead of a 510. Would have to find an adapter that didn't look/make it feel clunky.

808 to 510 Adapter - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
Reviews: 808 to 510 adapter [gotvapes-808to510-adapter] - $3.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I forgot that the triton was 808 - been a while since I have personally used one. I have those adapters (even though I don't own 808's anymore /sigh I should add one to my collection again) and they both look very good on setups. I know what you mean by adapters making them feel a bit off. Just my opinion, but if I were to recommend an adapter, it would be one of those. There is a review also that someone uses it on the triton (the one from mtbaker) if you read the reviews.

I don't see "vaping as cool". I see it as keeping me away from the "real deal". Vaping is a pain in the patootie and anyone who spends 50% of their day doing something with their "gear", researching something new and staring at posts on forums definitely needs help! I need help! That being said, "Starting Vaping" when one never smoked does puzzle me! The "appetite suppression" aspect IS a good reason and I can see where it is a valid reason one might take up this "habit". I HOPE your WIFE has kicked the "real deal" and you both now "vape" for the "enjoyment" as it IS expensive over time. Folks such as yourself are the minority - but, if you truly ENJOY it - keep on keeping on!

WELCOME to the place where everyone knows everything while they are really only in a stage of the "learning process". You'll have fun here and you'll read "stuff" that makes you cringe. Some folks are so passionate about this "hobby" it amazes me! Again - WELCOME and I hope your wife has time to join us as well. There are MANY "ladies" out here who are really sharp and can offer superb suggestions.

Senile Old Man Don ....... I don't know much but I'm an expert in trying to learn more!

I worked at a gas station for quite while and bought a couple packs of cigs just because of how often I was around them. I wanted to see what they were all about (after being a ......... user for over a year, strictly through waterpipes). But I hated them and still loved the act of smoking something, just while not killing my self. Bought a Blu disposable, then through the wonderful Internet, got introduced to "vaping". I'm now obsessed with it. The gear, the tinkering of rebuildables, the juice flavors and I never want to stop. I enjoy this Hobbie and being able to watch technology progress is a blast.

Started with an Innokin SVD and protank 2. Rebuilt the coils a bunch. Then got a mech. Then a kayfun clone. And then a dripper. And I'll continue to add to my collection as new things come out. I've just started experimenting with different builds a while back and trying to master that which is fun. It's worth every penny if it's something that I enjoy. I use 6 mg nic and hopefully will start making my own juice soon so I can go to 3mg. Nic doesn't seem to give me any benefits but I still need a little kick of something. I actually wish I was addicted to the nic vapor but honestly, I'm just not.. I just love vaping. Is that weird? I know I'm a little weird in my thinking but what ever. ;P
