This is my first day going into work and NOT buying a pack of analogs just because I'm stressed out or simply craving one. I quickly deposited my money into my savings account and vaped my cravings away. What might not be a big deal to some is a huge accomplishment for me! I truly believe I can stay off the analogs for good this time with the help of my 24mg juices. Just got a camel flavored juice from The Vapor Pro today and I love it,it tastes somewhat like tobacco to me but also has a sweet mellow taste which will also help keep me off the analogs. I plan on moving my way up to 36mg for good measure as I used to smoke three packs a day. Ecigs can really save your life if you AND money if you really know how to use them. Yay me!

That IS a big deal and a huge accomplishment! Congrats! You only got your Joye kit a few days ago, right? I trust the new hardware is making a difference.

Don't forget that if you feel 36 is too strong you can always drop back down again. That's the beauty of using e-cigs to quit - you get to play and tailor to your individual needs. ( I like to emphasize "play" though.) And you can change things day to day or within any given day as needed. It's great!

It can be done!

I haven't bought a pack of cigs at a brick & mortar store for over 2 years as it was too expensive (was buying online & waiting 6 WEEKS for delivery!)

I found vaping & have no desire to go back to analogs from day 1.

& now the smell is so bad to me the thought of tasting that smell is, well, disgusting - I couldn't do it.

BTW, I smoked 1.5 PPD for 38 years & am probably substantially older than you.

So, lol congratulations "Son"!!!

Yeahhhh - your first big deal. Clearing the first day gives you something to build on. You are going to benefit so much and so quickly from this.

I can't believe how quickly my taste buds woke up. My strength too. Deep breaths are a joy instead of a pain now. It's all good crispy <----- crispypickles...great name...lol

Well done mate, I have read a few stop smoking books and nicatine addiction is 99% mental 1% actual physical craving. Its a mind over matter thing. I think all smokers or ex smokers have been in that frustrated mental state. Its not nice at least with vaping we can stay hooked on nicatine and not worry about the health issues. All your giving up with vaping is the nasty taste bad smelling clothes hair ect.. and all the bad killer stuff, keep that in mind and vape on!

The first two weeks I found it strange going into a store and not getting cigarettes. One weak evening I was out of cream for coffee and was going to go...but also wasn't convinced I wouldn't cave. Skipped the cream, had milk anyway. Since then it's been getting easier and easier to not think about them when at the cash.

Congratulations. it is a big deal!

Congraulations on passing that milestone! Like everybody says, it IS a huge deal.

I found vaping after smoking 1 to 1.5 ppd for 30 years and feel I am truly blessed that I have not had any desire for an analog. From Day 2-Day 6 (today is Day 12) I was traveling and had analog smokers all around me - some even smoking my "old" brand - and it just made me sick to smell it. On Day 2 I also reached for my lighter once - so nipped that in the bud and collected them all and stashed them. I am a world reknown lighter thief (unintentional of course) so my friends are all relieved! :) No big deal - I just d/l the flame on my cell - became a smart ... about it - and now I'm stealing their cells!!!!

Again, congrats!

In 12 short days - vaping has quickly gone from the tool I used to quit smoking to hello my new fun hobby!!!

Keep it up man! Every time the very thought of a cig comes to mind, vape vape vape until that same thought makes you sick... it's what I do! haha.

I still have to buy my girlfriend cigarettes on my way home from work sometimes.. but I've found if I force myself to vape *enough* the craving will be gone by the time I'm done. Go go go!

Realized the other day how much LESS often I'm at the nearest carryout. I used to be there at least every other day. Last time I was there, a friend was working behind the deli counter. I asked how long they had been working, they answered "2 weeks". I realized it had been at least that long since I had been to this store!

40 days since last analog.
