Last week my husband borrowed my volt and then he forgot to take it out of his pocket before throwing his clothes in the dirty laundry. Imagine my upset when I was transferring the freshly washed clothes to the dryer and I saw my treasured Volt laying there at the bottom of the washer. I didn't know what to do so I sat it on the table where it blinked accusingly for hours on end.
After a while I remembered the time my husband dove in the pool with his cell phone in his pocket. We put it in a bag of rice until it dried out and it worked fine after that. So I put my Volt in some rice and left it for 4 days. When I took it out and charged it, I couldn't believe it when it worked perfectly!
Dang! I love my Volt!

I've instituted an "anything I find in pockets is mine" rule. Now nobody leaves anything in their pockets. LOL

Glad your Volt is working!

I have the same rule Jen. I started that rule after crayons ended up in my dryer. I have amassed a nice collection of money and Nintendo ds video games.

My nieces wondered about me when I bought a DS for myself. I figured since I had all those games, I should probably buy something to play them on. Once in a while I'll let them buy a game back. My mother thought it was mean, but hey, it teaches them to be responsible for their stuff and think about what it would cost to replace.
