Water got in my ecig and now its not working

Basically i was using my efag in the bath very stupidly and i got water in my tank i didnt drop it and didnt spoil the battery however it seeped through to the tank now when i smoke on it there is hardly and smoke coming out and also it feels really blocked when i pull on it i have replaced the coil however that has just made it worse can anyone give me any ideas as what i should do next

Lucky that the battery didn't take a swim!

Try taking it (the subtank) all the way apart. Rinse all the parts well under hot running water, wipe off the excess and give it plenty of time to dry. A hair dryer can speed that up, but keep your distance with it, or use low heat. Then try a new coil.

Ive just dried it out but its not smoking at all really alil bit is coming out but it seems like its blocked somewhere and btw its on a low voltage

after cleaning it and letting it dry completely did you use a new coil, if not try that.

Are you using the same coil as when it got water in it?

You do have the airflow open?
There is not really anything to block just the chimney and the base and then the coil.

turn the tank upside down and cover the airflow holes with paper towels while blowing really hard. It sounds like your airflow is blocked with something.

If all is dry, that could well be it, especially if you have it in voltage mode. As the voltage goes down, so does the power level.

He did try a new coil and had a clogging effect. I suggested he turn it upside down and blow through it while holding a paper towel around the airflow to make sure everything out that is not supposed to be in there.

That's just an assumption, It was never confirmed.

I don't know ... maybe a circuit protect tripped ....

I would try recharging the unit to full .... thinking a recharge cycle might reset the units circuit protection, if it has one ... just a guess.
