whats sad is theres a thread about vaping building water in the lungs and there isn't a post from anyone completely dispelling and disproving the myth.
The onus is on the claimant. Anyone who says "vaping causes water to buildup in your lungs" has to either prove their claim or they lose credibility.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how ANYONE could think there is ANYTHING "worse than smoking cigarettes." From all the haters, you'd think that cigarettes were the freaking antichrist. NOW they "think" there's something worse, just when we discover there's something we like better than cigarettes?

Just goes to show you... haters gonna hate. The object of their hate seems irrelevant -- they've decided that anyone anywhere who has ever had any desire to smoke, that person is just evil and must be persecuted -- so when they (we) find something to replace cigarettes... go on and hate that too. And say obviously-stupid things about it at the same time.

I have been vaping since Last October, and I love to vape , great to quit the analogue
Long story cut short .........I exercise (cardio) everyday , everyday after a workout , I am seriously out of breath and fighting to breath , coughing and wheezing .........until I cough up a Heap of phlem off my chest .............where is all this phlem coming from ............my guess is my lungs ...........staying off the smokes .....quitting vaping today .... I believe it is really affecting my condition .......I could breath better before on analogues after exercise than vapor cigs ..........I don't have the flue or a cold ........but I believe vaping might be giving me asthma.......

Somewhere on this site there is a post about vaping in the news and what coverage it gets. It is a great read if you have a few minutes.

Anyone could have a reaction to PG, maybe VG, or flavors. I lowered my nic and figure I don't want it too low or I will vape too much, will see how it works out. I don't like the idea of chain vaping or chain anything, but whatever you do its better than burning tobac.

The next time it's cold outside and you can see them exhale, tell them they better rush to the hospital, they have water in their lungs. Our lungs are naturally moist, and upon exhale we get rid of some of that moisture, it's a natural thing tell them you can handle a little extra moisture, your body is better wit no analogs, and able to keep up. If anything the vapor will help loosen all the crap you have deposited in your lungs over the years smoking. Ever use a vaporizer as a kid when you had a chest cold? Didin't kill you did it. Ever see someone with asthma get a breathing treatment, guess what most of the medications in that "steam" is carried by either PG or VG.

What's sad is that these rumors are everywhere! My son (he's 20) went in to get a chest XRay because he was sick (ended up being just an upper resp. infec.) as he was leaving his vapor fell out of his pocket and the tech told him that he was sick because he was vaping! That it causes water build up in the lungs. I was ......! I asked her if she had some medical training that proved this of course she said no, I asked if she has seen medical evidence of this again she said no. I asked her if any of the doctors she worked with has told her this and again she said no. I told her that in her position as a tech in hospital that most people are going to assume that she knows what she is talking about and not take the time to clarify as I did, therefore it is very irresponsible of her making such untrue statements that will likely cause people to rush out and buy analogs again because they are afraid of getting water in their lungs! After I explained what analogs were (oops lol) she agreed.

Haha, I work as an xray tech and it was pounded into our heads as students that we get paid to take pictures and not to diagnose patients. Even still, that is poor form to tell your son that that is making him sick. None of the tech's business what your son does. Do your job and take the picture. One facility I worked at had an area for employees that smoked and ironically there were a lot of respiratory therapists that frequented that area.:vapor:
