Water-Pic to clean gunked-up coil and wick..?

Anyone tried this before? I have an RSST and have been using a sticky juice that has left a large amounts of deposits on the wick-coil. I'm thinking a trip to the car wash/water-pic might just give me another week or two out of it. MGJ

I first tried it on the prosmoke cig-a-like atomizer. It worked great, though my water pic has settings from one to ten and I used setting #1. Note that the atomizer was totally exposed on that mode. I also tried it on the CE4. May have been better than rinsing, or may not have. Give it a shot and report back.

I'm not familiar with your RSST, by the way.

No clue but a soak overnight in vodka does nice work

Nermal, RSST is a Genesis style rebuildable (RDA).

vol-cntrl, no vodka + tank is still loaded with juice..

Tried it though, with water pic on about 2/3 power, hot water and a very fine tip for a powerful stream.

The wick came clean and the coil looks to be too. although still dark colored, I believe it is just oxidization

Now just waiting to dry and the juice to displace the moisture. will report back

IF you're gonna water-pic it use some strong clear alcohol or Isopropyl Alcohol and let dry thoroughly. But if you're using SS mesh couldn't you just dry burn it clean?

Well I knocked off/broke the coil wire. Too much pressure I guess. Vodka soak next time. Was just looking for a quick way to clean it without draining the tank. Oh well thanks guys
