Watermelon Bubs Daddy Bubblegum

Back in the 70's there was a brand of bubblegum called Bubs Daddy. It came in long ropes and only cost a nickle. The flavors available were regular, cinnamon, cherry, grape, apple and my favorite, watermelon.

The last time I had some Bubs Daddy gum had to be about 1976. I miss it a lot.

Well, I got some Loranne's flavorings and made a damn fine facsimile of Bubs Daddy Watermelon. It's close enough that when I took my first vape, my memory took me back to the corner store in my home town where I used to buy it.

Watermelon Bubs Daddy Bubblegum

5 drops 24mg PG
2 big drops of VG
1 drop Loranne's Bubblegum
1 drop Loranne's Watermelon

I remember Bubs Daddy...that stuff was great...I used to get the green apple at the gas station down the alley from my house.

It's what they sold at our VFW baseball/softball game snack shop too. I hadn't thought of that stuff in years, but it was great. One rope of it would last a full ballgame because the flavor was so strong. My fav was the green apple, but the watermelon was good too. Thanks for the recipe.
