BTW, how to you measure in ml? I've noticed some of your measurements show X number of ml, how do you measure an ml? Does so many drops equal an ml?

I have used the 20 drops = 1ml when working with small mixes. When working with 10ml etc I use a cc/ml syringe. If you have a TSC (Tractor Supply Company) close by they have syringes from 3ml - 60ml in size, also the have needles for the syringes from 16-22ga. If you are not comfortable using syringes, then got to any pharmacy and pick up a childrens medicine dropper. Normally they are 10ml in measument and are incrimented by 1cc/ml as 1cc = 1ml.

Dan, thank you so much. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who loved those Sweet Dream's cherry flavored cigarettes. They were soooo good. It's difficult to describe to anyone who never had one isn't it? It's a slice of heaven but it had to have a slice of poison on the side. Perhaps if you can perfect the flavor in the e-liquid to the e-cigs, we can have that true taste of heaven in a safe cigarette, the E-cigarette! :)
Now for the good news, after you posting it got me to thinking that the flavor I was working with was too strong and I needed to blend it and tone it down some. Eureka! My wife say I am spot on, here is the mix:

Cherry Dreams

7ml 80/20 PG 24mg/VG
15 drops cherry
15 drops strawberry
5 drops raspberry
5 drops tropical punch
10 drops marshmallow
Makes approx 10ml

Very sweet and rich flavor not an overpowering Cherry flavor that the Cherry flavor from Lorann is known for. Thanks for proding me to follow up on this recipie :)

According to their siter, Loran's flavorings have no oils in them so they are safe...

"Our flavors (also known as candy oils) are not dilluted in water or oil like many competitior's flavors. Although known as candy "oils" these flavors do not contain vegetable oil."

https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx

My favorite is the Rootbeer and it hasn't killed an atomizer and it's dark, so go figure...

Some of their flavors are listed as oils. I know it's not vegetable oil they use, but it's something that's not water soluble (possibly the natural oils from the extracts?). Of course, Dan has used the oils with no issues.

As with any of the DIY mixing, there may be a risk associated with using them, so I can only say use your best judgement. Personally, I am not using the oils because I have plenty of flavors that I enjoy which are water soluble. We'll see what happens when I decide to mix up some of Dan's clove recipe :)

Just remember the Oils are super concentrated, it does not take much. One or two drops goes ALONG way. I usually use no more than 4 drops per 10ml that is a concentration of .02% per drop.

Have you tried to Lorann Wintergreen Oil (Artificial)? I'm looking to try that out for Menthol, just curious how much to use.

Thank you Dan,
It's a very good recipe, I would say it's a lite cherry recipe.

Here's my winning Bubble Gum recipe (0 nic) :
5ml Vg
1ml Lorann's Bubble Gum
0.5ml Distilled water

Btw This 0 nic formula is working amazing for me, The liquid is not dripping to my mouth, I get much longer time of puffing before needing to refill.
I also used it with your recipe, just cut half half of everything to do the experiment (2.5vg, 0.5 lorann, 0.25ml water) .

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Thanks again.

But they (Loranm's) say they are not oils so how can they be oils??

I'm using the wintergreen flavor now.. It's nice and does give a menthol type of taste, but I always seem to add menthol crystals anyway to make sure I get the throat kick..

No matter what company I get juice from, the flavors aren't strong enough for me, so I can't use just afew drops of flavoring since I don't seem to taste it... I'm using at least a dropper full of flavorings per 10cc bottle.. Go figure, if an atty was going to go, then according to some in here, I would constantly be killing my attys and I'm not..

Some ARE oils, if it says it in the name of the flavor with the words "Natual" not Artificial they are essence oils. Also some use vetable oils as a base and it will say that in the ingredients listed under item details i.e.:

Wintergreen Oil, Artificial
Product Number:0030-0100
Kosher Certified. Gluten Free & Sugar Free Contains: Methyl Sal. Slightly soluble in water. Appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings.

Wintergreen Oil, Natural
Product Number:0050-0500
Kosher Certified. Gluten Free & Sugar Free Contains: Natural Wintergreen Oil. Insoluble in water. Appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings.

Dan,
All the Lorann flavorings I see come in such small bottles. Where do you get them in the amounts you use in your recipes?

At https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx you can get them in 4oz bottles way bigger than 1 dram size bottles when you find the flavor you like.
