Hello guys im new to the forum and i just started vaping (3 months) i just bought an i joy tornado and a kangertech kbox 200w i'm just wondering what is the maximum safe wattage for a dual clapton coils 0.15 ogm build?. ----->I'm using sony vtc5<-----
And for now i've reached 90/100 watts

Wattage on a coil is to taste, this question gets asked a lot and there is no silver bullet answer other than to start low and gradually work your way up, get a harsh, scorched, or otherwise unbearable hit, back it down a couple notches. A lot of variables are at play, type of wire, exotic (which a clapton is), twisted, parallel, number of coils, resistance, diameter, horizontal, verticle, atomizing chamber size, airflow, nicotine level, pg/vg ratio, flavor, wattage, and finally the biggest factor, the end user (and everyone has different tastes).

Highlighted in red above I will give you a cautionary here, the Sony VTC5 is rated at 20amp Continuous Discharge Rate, and with the Kbox 200watt having a shutoff voltage per battery of 3.55volts, in series your max watts they can handle will be about 130 watts

130watts/7.1v (3.55X2)=18.3098 rough amps/0.9 (90% mod efficiency)=20.3443 final amps

Up to about 150watts -> Sony VTC4 (20 to 23amp CDR, can be wiggled to match the VTC3 at 28amps), LG HD2/HD2C, Sony VTC3, LG HB2, HB4, HB6 (Sony VTC3 (28amps) and the LG HB Series are all true 30amp CDR, though low mah, about 1500mah, but there are no other batteries on the market with high CDR than these 4)
Above 150watts -> Sony VTC3, LG HB2, HB4, HB6

Link in my signature has a break down of wattage ranges and suggested batteries along with suggested batteries by configuration type, single, dual battery parallel, dual battery series, and triple battery series
