Watts, amps and volts OH MY

Hey guys,
heres a question, what changes can you do to a mod that will adjust the Ohms that you are getting. Do you add more wraps to the coil take away wraps... do you use a lighter gauge or a heavier gauge.

For example i am using a 28ga Kanthal A1 wire. dual coil set up with 5 wraps and using a 18650 2.5V 2100mAH battery and i am registering .5ohms. What do i need to do if i want to get to a 1.5 - 3.2 ohm reading.

As that is my "sweet spot" as far as the this chart seems to say.

I feel like this is a question most new people have but i cant seem to find an answer on my own.
Thanks for the help

That chart is not accurate for what you are wanting to do, the chart is based on stock coils which are of a higher gauge than you are using (prob around 32 -36AWG). The chart is also based on a single coil setup.

To increase your resistance you can:
1)Remove one of the coils --> that will double the resistance (to 1ohm) but you obviously lose vapour production due to only having one coil
2)Add more coil wraps
3)Use a higher gauge Kanthal (Higher AWG = more resistance for the same length of wire)

I'll second get a good battery, and add in steam engine is another nice online resource, you can enter diameter, gauge, and wraps to get an estimated resistance for a coil, before you build it. Then plug it in to check amp load on your battery. It helps until you get the hang of where you're shooting for build wise. And to double check your math on amps for safety sake.
