Heat in your vapor is what I was referring to, sorry. A warm vape vs a cold vape.
Got it. Many thanks for indulging me. I kind of figured some of this out for myself but now I have affirmation. And a whole lot more. i was focussing so hard, I stopped vaping! Going back to it in the knowledge that I'm now an enlightened vaper.........I think!

The HEAT will be determined by the diameter of the wire used. 1ohm coil made from fatter wire will be a cooler temperature than a 1ohm coil made from thinner wire at a given watt. BUT the fatter wired coil will have more CAPACITY for generating heat. It will also get hot slower and cool slower than the thin wire coil.

Yes. Ohms are a measure of resistance to current. The smaller the number, the less resistance.
Got it. Very much appreciated. I was focussing so hard, my hand (and mind) went for a cigarette. And then I realised I threw them all out 3 weeks ago and the P3/Nauty was right in front of me! Clean solid throat hit with an efficient delivery of nicotine and loads of wonderful flavour. Bliss! Why the hell was I thinking of cigarettes??!!

Good God, no wonder I failed those exams. I'm going to read this over and over till I get it. You said "For the same watts, higher ohms means lower amps". I think amps=current, and in this context, equals amount of heat. Is that right? If so, then for the same watts, the higher the ohms, the less the heat. Correct or not?

1: Yes, amps is the current.
2: No, amps does not 'equals amount of heat'.
For example , 10 amps pushed through a thin wire might get the wire white hot and it burns out, whereas 10 amps through a thick wire the thickness of your finger might not get warm at all.
That's how fuses work.

This is going to be a very very dumb question. But bear in mind I failed every physics exam in school and occasionally lapse into numerical dyslexia. I'm also new to vaping. Ok, so here it is.

Consider two setups:
Setup A is a VV/VW mod, say a Provari P3 (as I have), with a good tank with a 1.5 ohm coil installed.
Setup B is exactly the same, but with a 2 ohm coil installed.
Both setups are set to 10 Watts.
You push the button........

Which coil gets hotter? Which setup results in more voltage? Which setup has more current running through the coils? Or are all three (heat,voltage, current) the same thing?

See, I told you it would be a dumb question.
I have 2 cars exactly the same... 1 is in 2nd gear and the other in 4th gear and they are both going the same speed... which one will have a higher RPM on the motor? think of RPM as voltage and the ohms as the gear its in ( but the inverse applies to this analogy)
