So I've been looking through different posts and I'm still confused about the difference between watts and volts. I'm looking at buying a vv4 and I figured it would be a good idea to understand what exactly I'm buying before spending the money on it. While I was looking through the forums, I saw words like sub-ohms and ohms being thrown around so IF someone wants to explain that I would be eternally grateful otherwise that's the next lesson I'm planning to learn.

Think of it like light bulbs :?:. Your little night light and your outdoor floodlight both run on the same voltage, 120 volts. But you can reach out and touch the night light....won't burn. Touch that floodlight after it is on and you'll understand! The difference? The night light has a higher resistance.

Watts = heat produced
Volts = push (pressure) from the battery to force power through the coil
Ohms = push back from the coil; resistance is measured in ohms
Amps = amount of electrons actually let through

Hi Kitty. The vv4 is a nice little mod. I doubt you'll have any issues concerning watts/volts/ or ohms with it. More important is the tank you will use with it and the resistance (ex : 1.8 ohm ) of the coils you use in that tank. While it is good to understand the technical aspect of your personal vape, operating it safely and/or properly is the same technique with all vapes.

After putting the tank on set your mod (vv4) to a low setting. Take a draw, see how it hits/tastes, then up it 1 or 2 and try it again. If you get to where the draw tastes really dry, burnt, or hot, back it down a notch and you're good to go. If you had mentioned the tank you are topping it with we could all probably give you our opinion of where you'll vape as far as power goes. It's all about finding the "sweet spot" of your vape, regardless of the equipment. You'll be fine.

Vaping will lure you farther in the longer you do it. There are always better tanks, batteries and so on. Basics are tanks and batteries (batteries are also referred to as mods). RDA is rebuildable dripping atomizer. Ohms refers to the electricity flowing through the coil that heats up the liquid. Sub ohm means it's less than 1.0 ohms but you'll understand that better after reading the link Six posted above. It's going to be somewhat of an education on how electricity works to better understand how an e-cig operates. If you like the flavor of the juice you're using, you may want a different setup than if you like blowing huge clouds. If you inhale mouth to lung as opposed to lung inhales, there is a different setup for that which you may prefer. Keep reading and asking questions and you'll get it. :)

Hi!
I bought the aspire nautilus mini which I love and the kanger aerotank mini which I don't like very much. My smoktech hbc tank seems like it's better than the kanger but that's just me. The airflow sucks even with it open to the max.
