I'm a computer engineer. Today a long term client brought in his PC with a problem. I've worked on this guy's machines many times over the years and he's a smoker. I'm in my fourth week of vaping and haven't been near an analog in that time. Do you know what? That PC stank, literally. So much so I had to open the window to work on it. It was pretty shocking. And when my client picked it up, he smelled just the same and so did his car.

Guess what? We don't stink like that any more!!!

I just hope that vaping can continue as it is without crippling taxation or goverment interference 'cos I am seriously enjoying it and I wish every smoker could find the pleasure and satisfaction I have.

I just wanted to share with everyone :)

I agree with you there completely. A lot of people vape on a budget, myself included, and I'd hate to see people forced to stop because they couldn't get what they need.

I hear ya Olef. I quit analogs about 2wks ago and it has sent my nose in sensory overdrive. From my experience, from quitting analogs before, the nose settles down and adjusts after a while. Old, stale smoke is pretty bad, but the worst smell for me is dirty laundry. Especially my DH’s running clothes and DD’s soccer jersey. BO just makes me gag. The nicest smell is the spring air on my kids after they come in from playing. If they could bottle that smell, I’d be in heaven.

I never quit before and I must be in sensory overdrive because the smell is driving me up the wall. I smoked in my house so now I'm constantly walking from room to room seeing if I can smell anything. I've washed walls, washed curtains, had my rugs shampooed, washed all my clothes. I even repainted my closet. I have a lot of books and I can smell cigs on my books.:(

I don't know how my hubby put up with it (maybe he wanted to have sex again before he died so he kept his mouth shut) but he never said anything. And we both 'tried' to quit years ago. He did, and I didn't. Wow, maybe I'll make him a cake or something.

The worst now is realizing how much others smell!!!

Isn't that terrible? Both my sister's smoke. I would never say anything to them. First because they both have about 20 lbs on me and they'd kill me (sisters!) and second because I swore I'd never be one of those people. But it's tempting.

I was amazed at how badly a house can smell when the owner smokes. I had a job where I had to repair PCs in owner's homes and the smell would over power me if they were a smoker. There are a couple of smokers where I now work, and I can smell them a mile away. I am ashamed that I used to stink just as badly.
