He lives in Austin, TX.

He normally plays with the modified Alvarez acoustic (they make a signature edition for him), but he DOES play electric at times (Parker Fly).

He's awesome, and is a great writer, as well.

I've seen him countless times, and he never ceases to amaze me.

Wow, he's amazing! My acoustic guitar is an Alvarez Yairi as well (but I have no talent) and it's cool to see more Yairi's out there. My personal opinion is that Yairi's are the best relatively unknown and lower priced higher end guitars around.

It looks like Monte is coming in Minnesota this summer and playing for free in Rochester (about 45 minutes away from me) so I'll definitely have to make a point to go see him play!
