so i been kicking around the idea of going 6v on my mini because the hits have faded and just for fun tested my red imr 14500 fresh off the charger and they all read between 2.4 and 2.7. i have been using the same 3 batteries for about 6 months. one battery lasts me all day as im down to about 1 mil per day.

are the batteries just old and weak? how often for you all get new batteries?

ok i i had my meter set to ac. duh. batteries are 4.2 off the charger. and i m even a electrician !

im using 2.0 boge cartos with 24 mg gorilla juice. but its not a strong enough hit any more.

any ideas on how to get more flavor and vapor?

Ya, use a 4.8V Batt, they come off the charger around 5.4 and drop to 5v in a bit and with a 2ohm Boge it will blow you away with that Gorilla juice, I use this and enjoy it

o my heart fluttered alittle

Yeah, I'd love a 5v option for the Mini, myself. The 6v is a nice change-up, but limited use time. Really though, you can get the same wattage increase by dropping down the ohm rating of your attys. Get a few 1.5 and 1.8. Sometimes after you've been vaping awhile, you need a change.

How old are the attys, when they get old they have a tendency to get weak. Also means their about die, I rotate through 6 attys and replace them about every three months. Batts I usually replace about every 6 months.

ive been using cartos and get about 1 week out of one. the last atties i tried was the ikn and they didn t work out for me. i liked the 2.0 306 ciscos might get them again

the cleaning help a little but i think a change is in order.

would you go for the 6v option with a few sets of batteries or the 1.5/1.8 atty ? 2.0 ohm is the lowest ive gone. so the 1.5 at 3.6v might just be what to vaper ordered

If you're an electrician, you'll appreciate this chart: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/469/wattage.png

Basically, the "hit" is the result of the heat, or wattage, that you are getting in your vape. With 3.7v batteries and a 2ohm carto, you are currently around 8 watts (the batteries come off the charger at 4.2 and most people change them at about 3.8). You can increase the hit by either going with a lower ohm atty, or by using higher volt batteries. It is probably easier to try the different attys, or lower ohm cartos, before you change your battery set up.
