i don't own any dna's... but i have a question for you, what were you looking for in a mod, maybe we can guide you towards one that is better suited towards you?

well, i already have a perfect vape so finding one's not an issue. You see, this cool mod came out with two versions (the x2 and the x3 they call them) the X2's chip is simple and what i usually get (so sticking to that). and the x3 (this) is what i had a problem with (battery message wise). I didn't know anything about the x2 or x3 because info was limited during pre sale so i bought both and just sorta discovered what i did when i opened it, no sooner. but thanks for your honest interest in helping me find a new mod :) the x2 is the one for me

i guess since this is resolved i got a bonus question about a battery (cough cough.. mooch...lol) The mod i did choose to go with (the older version of this that isn't giving me problems) i'm using with a samsung 25r5 (compares to an authentic i checked). And just wondering if this is the best battery for me, and the safest. I vape about 10 pulls an hour (40 watts). That is not a lot at all. So far i've only had to charge every 2 days, surprisingly. I don't mind charging either as long as i'm using the correct battery. So, with all said and done-would any of you done any different or keep safe where I am now? The mod is an ETALIENS E.T-X2 80W VW APV Box Mod. Perhaps if I knew what kind of chip was in it that'll help figure out, don't know where in description specifically it says. I might not be of help answering other details so attaching screenshot of the details from the website page. I'm using a very safe Nitecore charger too, so let's not get into charging-that I got in the bag lol.

The 25R5 is fine at 40W.
You can get about 15% more vaping time, perhaps a bit more, though using a 3000mAh battery like the VTC6, 30Q, or HG2.

You know, Ijoy doesn't make batteries. How can it be authentic?
What resistance are you running at? Factory coil or one you made?
I also noticed a couple forums where the owners stated the problem just fixed itself. Probably they fixed something without realizing it. lol.
Could be a loose coil or dirty 510 connection. Hard to say.

Those ijoy batteries are mooch tested and a true 30 amp.
