Weakening Nic in Juice?

Hi everyone

A couple of days ago I mixed my first e-liquids and pretty much all of them are done the same way:

60/40 VG/PG 8mg Nic and 10-20% flavor.
The flavors are Banana tropical, Sweet Strawberry and Watermelon, so I just made single flavor e-liquids and for the last two combined Banana + Strawberry and Strawberry + Watermelon.

Now the question.... Will the Nic weaken if I leave the bottles open for about 24 hours?

It's pretty heavy on the throat right now and Nic does weaken if exposed to air.

No.
Nicotine does NOT degrade that fast. A 10% reduction in potency might take a year or more and then you will have juice at .72% vs .8%. Not sure most of us would even notice it.

What BRAND of flavour are you using and what device(s) are you using to vape them?

Hi Izan,

I'm using Lord of the juice flavors and I'm vaping on vaporesso target 75 vtc 0.8 ohm kanthal ccell.

I feel a nice flavor at first and then it gets a bit sour. Also the scratching at the back of my throat is a bit strong.

The Ceramic coils produce a "sharper" taste.
Do you have ANY conventional (non ceramic) devices? Some folks report a distinct difference in familiar juices using the CC coils.

Also 8mg/ml "might" be a bit much with the CC Coils... drop your nic level into the 2mg/ml--5mg/ml range.

As an aside...do you get the flash with Zero nicotine mixes?
Perhaps make some of the same recipes in Zero and mix them with the 8mg/ml juice until you find a happy place.

Eta: Follow the flavour manufactures % suggestions.
Use the least amount suggested and ADD if needed. 10% is on the high side of all of the flavours you made.

Could look at these few factors:
1. Frequency between inhales.
2. Nic strength of mix.
3. Length of vape session.
4. The optimal combustion temperature (low med and high).
5. Size and number/rating of coil(s).

@Izan unfortunately I just recently started vaping so the vaporesso tank and mod are my only devices I have now.
I will try to lower the Nic and maybe dilute the juices I just made with some VG/PG to see if it gets better.
I do have another juice given to me by a friend that has pretty low quantities of Nic and it vapes great.
Yeah, with some of them I can really feel the taste, but I am looking into recipes at the moment for the TFA flavors and will order some soon.

1. I inhale for about 2-3 seconds then pause for 10-20 seconds sometimes even over 30 seconds.
2. Nic strength is 38 mg.
3. This happens with the first inhale, but my vaping sessions are usually about 10 minutes.
4. Mod is always set at 25w.
5. I'm not exactly sure about this one.
