Boba's bounty is great. It has been my favorite for the past year and a half. I got tired of waiting and tried Copper Creek's House Blend. It's almost as good as Boba's. I went ahead and ordered over a liter of that while we wait on Ben to get his site fixed. I'm not giving up on alien vision, but between the >month that the site has been down and the credit card issues (mine was also stolen) I have a feeling he will lose some business. I hate it for him, he's a good guy with a great recipe. I hope he gets these issues worked out soon.

I can't believe people just have this stuff sitting around and are willing to part with it. Works out good for us though!

I know man! Lol. The guy I got the GJ from said he ordered it February 19. I was just thinking 'wow, I ordered double that a full month later and it's all gone already'.

I like my GJ best fresh, luckily the big bottles steep a lot slower so it still tastes fairly fresh. He sent me a 18ml bottle of bobas too just for kicks I guess. Win for me :D

I do like house blend quite a bit too. Been vaping it for about a year or so. I wouldn't say its as good as gorilla juice (my favorite even over boba's) but its definitely a top shelf juice to me too.

I like CC HB too but that stuff just gunks up my coils after 2 or 3 fills of my igo. Have wash and dry burn to keep from getting the burned popcorn taste.

I am really digging this Candied Cavendish from Plume Room. It really has a lot of similarities with BB and GJ but its got more of a forward flavor. Only problem is it seems several others have discovered it too. They had to shut down for 2 days to get caught up with orders.@

Here is our official update as of 5/31:

We would like to thank everyone for waiting patiently while our store redesign is being finished, your wait is almost over! We will be tentatively reopening on June 3rd with the understanding that we will be encountering and fixing a few bugs as we finish our first day after using the new website.

AVEjuice.com will maintain an order capacity limit to ensure we do not take more orders than we can process in a given day. This will mean that while we will open around 8am PST our operating times will likely be brief as we collect orders and meet demand. We've more than doubled our stock and nearly doubled our work team while we've been offline, so this adjustment period should be short.

The website is running but our redesign is only at a half-way point, you can expect to encounter new content and general bug fixes to roll out in the days following our opening. Some of the current bug and glitches we are aware of and working on, e.g. no sign-in link on home page, generic graphic on invoices, some browser version display issues (with older browsers). If you encounter ANY bug or glitch feel free to let us know via our "Contact us" link in our Help section.

What else is there to cover?

Oh sales! Yes, we will be opening up with a 25% discount on all items for the first week we are active. You can call it whatever type of discount you'd like but it is really a bonus for those customers who have been supportive and patient during our down-time. I had no good estimate on how long we would be down and now that we are towards the end I'm glad that I didn't. We've gone well over any time limit I would have set myself, but the flipside to that is that we've been able to concentrate specifically on the website and how it flows and functions. The result is a nice website with easy ordering and product selection.

There is more news coming this weekend before we open so stay tuned!

This information will be posted across those social forums we use: Twitter, FaceBook, Electronic Cigarette Forum, etc. We ask that any specific questions on individual issues be sent to us via our "Contact Us" form on our websites front page. We encourage comments here but please know that they may not be responded to if we cannot get to them in a timely fashion.

P.S. - I know this is a bit general and generic but it is also our default response across all of the social sites. I'll be stopping in throughout the weekend to *hopefully* answer your questions.

25% off is great and appreciated by everyone I am sure, but I believe it would make sense to post the latest update right on the homepage of the AVE site as well, rather than the misleading statement that has been displayed there recently (and currently at the time of this message).

I don't mean to be picky, but it is these things that make AVE's operation seem disjointed and haphazard. Especially after the credit card fiasco, there is really no room for slipshod work.

Thanks Ben, I'm one of the unfortunate customers who's order had to be refunded and am now out of both Bobs's and 555. I'm now glad that I didn't spend money looking for something else because now I get to order the real thing. I truly hope that all goes well and appreciate the update.

I'd hate to be a stickler, or sound ungrateful, because I'm really not. I'm not even going to order in the first week anyways because I stocked up on GJ via the classifieds. This is more for others that will be trying to order feverishly.

The 25% discount is really nice, but I don't think a week is long enough. We've already seen what happens during sales during normal circumstances, order capacity gets reached extremely fast and most people don't get a chance to get in on the sale. With AVE being down for so long this time, the orders are going to come in so fast that the site will surely be closed for business in record times.

That being said, because of this I'd say a huge percent of people will not get to take advantage of the sale. Considering the circumstances, and how long people have had to wait while craving their juices, wouldn't it be more of a kindness to do it a little different so more of the people that waited faithfully for the reopen can be rewarded as well?

I'd like to propose you guys do something along the lines of a 25% discount code, rather than a sale, as many other vendors have done. Usable one time only and for a limited time, say a month until it expires maybe. Perhaps limit the amount that may be bought while using said code.

This way will allow more people to take advantage of your generosity, a reward for patience and standing by you guys this long.

A one week sale will benefit only a small margin of customers, as I'm willing to bet you will only be remaining open for a short time for quite awhile. Most people won't be able to get their orders in within that time frame, though I'm sure not for a lack of trying.

I found myself nodding my head in agreement as I read through this post. Right on.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking as I caught up on reading this thread. I thought the 25% sale for a week is a great idea..... then it dawned on me just how long the site will most likely be open each day during this first week... and I lost my excitement over the sale. It was hard enough to get an order in before, and after this extended downtime I would venture to guess that this coming week will be way worse. Maybe it won't be as bad as I'm picturing for the times the site is open next week, but after the 6 week drought everyone has been through I can only imagine the site being open for like minutes a day. Who knows.. shrug...
