Dude there are 87,492 people checking that site 4,761 times a day. When AVE opens... The whole WWW will know within seconds.
There is no "avoiding the rush".....
I don't think I would announce the opening. Why put that strain on a new, untested site? Easy for me to say since a just blew a cloud of Boba's on the computer screen. 
Back at ya! Im new to scene, but from what I see with people hounding it, I don't know how they thought they would get by with a shared server to begin with. Im in IT, not web\ecommerce side, but have to deal with enough of it (not by choice) to know that wasn't going to fly.
Ive seen hosting companies shutdown shared accounts with what im guessing to be far less traffic/resources in use than ave is using when live
Hell, Ave's probably using as much not live just servin up that background and banner all day with all the maniacs hitting f5 all day

I checked the site to see the banner change....and it prompted me to enter my birthdate in order to enter the site....I got all excited, heart racing....thinking I'll log in and get my order in real fast then go tell everyone the sites up....

This is gonna be funny how people change their tune when things are up and running. Ppl that have been bashing AVE/Ben, and saying they are done, will be the first ones to try for an order. The Facebook ppl r ridiculous, saying some mean and degrading stuff, will be begging for forgiveness or change their tune once the site reopens.
