As an ecommerce guy myself, I feel your pain. Ours guarantees 99.9% uptime - which sure sounds great, until you do some math and realize that means they can go down for 45 minutes or so per month, and still be within limits. You don't think about how many sales can go down the toilet in 45 minutes (especially during business hours for a B2B company) until it happens. heh. A week ago, our webstore went down an hour after I sent out a marketing blast to 16K customers. Real fun.
