I have no grill =] And really, I don't want stand outside in the heat to grill :p

Don't you know it! :p I need space for the incoming stuff... seriously.

"YOU" do have a foreman grill, don't you?
I wish I had the same problem with space, my supplies are getting low. I need to find a cheap good carto punch.

I like chicken salad made with plain yogurt instead of mayo. Add in your veggies of choice (I like diced onions and celery), maybe some fruit and nuts (cranberries and walnuts for me). I season with salt/pepper/garlic, and some combination of dill, turmeric, and/or rosemary. I'll eat it on a sammich, scooped onto salad greens, or by itself.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about =] Cool, light, and tasty! Damnit Tina, you and I should be related LOL!!!

You never know, perhaps we are! :D

I make that same chicken salad base with canned tuna, salmon, or even sardines depending on what I have on hand. Keeps several days in the fridge so I make up a bunch at a time and eat off it throughout the week.

I also made cucumber salad a few times and it's a new favorite. Dice up a cucumber, a tomato, and half an onion (or a whole one if you like). I could see adding shredded carrots and some celery to this, too. Perhaps a can of drained and rinsed beans (black beans, kidney beans, and chick peas are my favorites for salads). For the dressing, combine 1/3c sugar and 1c of cider vinegar or rice vinegar. I add some Thai garlic chili sauce to make it spicy but that's optional. You could use garlic and Italian seasonings instead. Anywho, whisk up the dressing, pour enough over the veggies to coat, and let them chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes. There will be leftover dressing to keep in your fridge for the next time you want some.

Mmmm, yeppers, but I want a chicken, tuna kind of salad, not grilled... Although a girlled chicken caesar salad sounds mighty fine :/ Must add Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese!!

Everyone here has great ideas and advice so let me throw this out. My son is looking for a good quality vv or vw box mod. Durability is a must as he is not easy on his mods. OK ideas anyone? almost forgot he doesn't like bottom feeders like the reo

I have a SMOKtech Gripper VV 3.0-6.0 18650 Variable 510 OLED, it is plastic and very lightweight. I put a battery in it to test it at arrival and the battery got stuck and would not come out... had to pry it out and broke some bit off of the bottom, now batteries go in and out very well but plastic is now chipped :p I also have an 'old goat' plastic box... can't remember if it is VV/VW or not, but a bottle fits in there. A HUGE plastic box, bigger than my hand. Poor vape on it... 'says' it takes 2 AA batteries on the box so I have not tried to use the 18650 one because I am kind of scared of using 2 18650 batteries LOL

I would NOT suggest either one of these for a man... the SMOKtech Gripper has a great vape, but so cheaply made :/

All this talk about mech mods- I really need to make another one. It's going to be hard to beat the price of the cheaper one's from China, but at least I can say I made it myself. No more flashlight mods for me, I'm going for a more conductive material than aluminum. My "local" hardware store only had one copper end cap in the size I need, I have to go to "the city" where the real stores are. I have the other necessary parts already. When it's 100% done, there will be pictures.

He sounds like the perfect candidate for a BilletBox.

What about one of those mods in the Altoid mint tins? I have seen those listed... not that easy to bust up a metal tin box, jpf880 =]

*IDEA* I'll send Schnarph the Old Goat to put in a Altoid mint tin :p If he is satisfied with what he's made, then I'm gonna send him the VV/VW gripper to put in a Altoid mint tin :p 1st one is free to play around with, 2nd one I pay a builder's fee on LOL I'll pick up an Altoid mint tins today at the grocers as well :p

Sorry, Schnarph... you kind of like the VVV 'Honey Do' guy now since you got the Zmax working and also worked in a bakery =] I'm gonna send you little care packages of broken or banged up PVs to tempt you into sending sweets my way for a long, long time LOL

FastTech has a pretty good deal on the itaste MVP, but I can't say if the batteries are exchangeable or not. The USB charging is convenient though.

I've been eying the Tmax since before it came out. I like the rounded edges on it better than the itaste, and you can swap out batteries, but it costs a bit more.

3) Perhaps they did something weird like me......and actually slept at night for a change! lol :)

NAH - That cannot be the reason . . .

IMO - It's only because the "RING LEADER"of the Late Nite Crew has been missing over nights. . .

But that is all about to change as soon as she gets back to the "Late Night" . . .

RIGHT "LISA" . . . "Our" Own VVV'ers

Thank you for the analysis ! i will definitely confer with you prior to making any mech purchase. (i think i did with the vamo too!)

The DrawTube is nice. I REALLY like the button and the head. The head is a solid chunk of steel once you get a atomizing device tightened up in there... it is not going ANYWHERE! And the three air channels cut into it make even the Vivi Nova hit smooth. The vape is a little lacking. there seems to be greater voltage loss than what I get out of The Natural (which I HIGHLY recommend if you are shopping Mechs). But the volatge loss isn't so great that it turns my away. Also, the DrawTube's build quality is top notch. the threading is buttery, and I can fully tellescope with a few brisk turns of the tube and momentum does the rest. It's a fine mod. That said... I do place it below The Natural though. just a little bit, but The Natural is better.

All good ideas. I would look into the Smoktech groove, they have new more durable ones, possible SS (methinks)
I would LOVE a Billet.... they are very hard to come by

You are leaving NYC for good!? And soon from the sounds of it. I will be out there with the misses and the kid in mid-August. And if you are gone, how will we ever have a chance to meet!!?

Well - Depending on how long "You", Future "Wifey", and "Levi" are going to be there and your schedule - "We" might be able to meet . . . I'll be there just before Labor Day Weekend . . . Just Sayin' . . .

@ "akatina" - That first recipe for the salad dressing and salald (minus the Tomato) looks just like "Greek Cucumber Salad" that you get in some diners . . .

@ "Box Mod" - I forget who just asked - I think "jpf" - However, a Friend of mine here on ECF just got one from someone who makes them from "Reclaimed" Wood and only charges $30 for the materials . . . Let "Me" contact them and get back to "You" . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Yes, going back to nights - I AM! :p Just have to work tomorrow and then I am dosing myself medicinally to stay up all night and the mornings for Emmy and then I am sleeping the rest of the day!! I am kind of excited to be back on nights =] I enjoy seeing these guys on days, but I do not relax so much on days, I am more tense. Someone is always dropping more and more stuff by for me to do because it never got done by anyone else... I sit the desk for 7 straight hours because no one else wants to, regardless of what the schedule says, but then I have to play catch up on assignments that never got done. AND I have a DEADLINE since so much time has been wasted :/ I get it all done, but it puts me on edge... hard to explain, but it is just a bit more edgy on days LOL

Anyway, I am off in an hour and need to run an errand before I head home. It'll be me and Emmy this weekend since the roomie is heading out to see his GF, so I am going to cook for us specially =]

YUM!!! That's one of my favorites, too; add a little oregano to the dressing and maybe a little mint... Yeah, I think I might have to reschedule my evening and cook tonight.
