Lisa, just walk her 3 blocks out and 3 blocks back lol. No need for stroller then.

I have tried that. Her schedule has been totally messed up with my being on days, so 3 blocks will only get a few sniffs and maybe a piddle. I need 11 piddles and a good deuce LOL She wants to get some sniffing in and work out any kinks from her old bones... that requires a longer walk, sometimes in new territory with delightful smells to sample. What can I say? She's an old lady dog owned by an old lady - we are both creaky, cranky, and apt to need a bit of special treatment now and then =]

I hit up Craigslist and have several foldable stroller options way cheap... I have several emails out and should have a new stroller wiped down with freshly washed bedding to test out over the weekend.

Lisa I can see you caring the stroller 6 block then unfolding it and putting Emmy in and strollering her home. I don't know why but the the visual I got made me LOL!

Nah, you got it all wrong =] I had two Chihuahuas before and Tommy and I spent every weekend at a state park with a lake or vacationing farther away in a state park. This is what you should imagine...

Lisa exiting her apartment with a stroller fitted with drinks, chewies, a blanket, rain guard, mace, and snacks. Emmy is leashed and placed in the stroller. Lisa walks away from the nasty grass with stickers that Emmy doesn't like and heads to the street that is lined with dewy moist carpet grass, swaying gently in the breeze. Emmy springs from her reclining pose when she scents just the right spot needing further investigation. Lisa follows behind Emmy as she strolls through freshly cut grass, investigates the scratch marks under a line of cedars, and trees a squirrel in a towering oak. Once Emmy has deposited her quota, Lisa offers her water to refill her piddle ration in the event that a new scent catches Emmy's attention. Lisa then places Emmy back in her stroller and they both return to the apartment thoroughly relaxed and pleased with their outing =]

Hey Tina how'd is your DIY coming along?

5/31 #1

Slow, but that's mainly due to lack of time. Last night I tried out the black currant at 10% with 2 drops per ml of sour and it was a bit on the flat side. If I can get it right I think it'll be fantastic; almost like grape but with more richness and a hint of a bitter note to offset the sweet. My husband is out of the house on Saturday so I'm hoping to shove the cats into a bedroom and go full on chemistry set in the kitchen for about an hour! :D

Distilled water. My base is a vg/water mix already, but a few drops of distilled should thin the juice without disrupting flavor. You could also try a few drops of PGA, which will thin and add th.

Do you punch any extra holes in your cartomizer?

YUM!!! The Thai dressing I posted for cucumber salad (1c rice wine vinegar, 1/3c sugar, 2 tsp garlic chili paste) goes AMAZING on cabbage. Maybe add some ginger for a little extra kick... Throw in some shredded carrots, onions of choice, and top with chopped peanuts. Soooooo good.

I definitely plan on cooking tomorrow. I bought a pork .... earlier this week; I watched America's Test Kitchen in the hotel Saturday and they made grilled St. Louis pork steaks and I decided I had to give it a go. Slice the .... into steaks, sear, and the braise on the grill in a pan of sauce for an hour or so. Tomorrow is also veggie delivery day and I have apsaragus, beets, kale, salad greens, sweet potatoes, spring onions, and garlic scrapes incoming. Might do grilled asparagus and beet salad (after pressure cooking the beets). I bet sweet potatoes would make a nice cold salad if they were cooked and cubed, too. Hrm, too many decisions!!!

I also have blueberries, strawberries, and oranges coming in the delivery tomorrow. I'm going to be lucky if I don't just sit down and eat them all myself in one sitting :D

4. 5/31 - Good morning folks.

100% VG users... how do you make your carto tank experience a pleasant one?

If you make this... can you also possibly keep the notion of a tutorial in mind while you do? I would LOVE to make one of those.
a) I use two holes that I punch myself, as deep as the punch will go, approximately 2mm. I do not add any water or PGA. YMMV, some vendors will thin the "100% VG" a bit. I use a syringe to fill the cartomizer for the first use.
b) I will try to remember to take a few pics while building, although a final result picture with step by step description might be good enough.
Nope. I use 2 hole laser punched or 1 hole Tina Punched™
I couldn't get "100% VG" to wick through the laser punched cartos without adding a drop or two of distilled water per ml. The water made the taste of my favorite vendor juice flat and dull, so I stopped doing that. If you do add water, a very little bit can make a huge difference. If you add too much you might get flooding. Good luck.

I don't add water, my base is made with distilled before flavor so it's thin enough to wick. It's a standard mix MBV offers for their juice.

Lucky, lucky girl!

I am definitely going to go with the rice wine vinegar, soy, ginger/garlic paste, purple onions, cilantro - my favorite salad ingredient, cabbage, but I'll lay off of the chili paste :p My stomach has been in recovery mode for the last week eating fast food LOL I've been thinking about grilling some chicken for the the fresh pineapple, dried cranberries, raisins, and almond slivers I have... maybe salad greens of some type, or apple chunks, and shredded carrots... and a yogurt for dressing.

By the way, this is all YOUR FAULT, Tina! All of your light and summer recipes, salad and veggie dishes drove me crazy =] I'll have you know I bought ONE GALLON OF YOGURT yesterday LMAO!!! ONE GALLON! Haha!

Honey Ginger Yogurt Salad Dressing
1/8 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root or ginger/garlic paste
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon of honey

I watch GeorgiaMntGirl, Chic, and a few others for ideas on what to cook the roomie for the week, but this type of salad hasn't gone over well with him, his loss and my gain =]

Emmy has been off of her dog food, so I mixed ground beef, canned pumpkin, yogurt, and mashed veggies and she's on her way back to good health if her appetite for this dish is any indication =]
