Stupidest neighborhood prank ever.
or, best prank ever?
4. 6/12 - I didn't mean to bash Nutella, I just think it's overrated. It was in the news a few months ago, something about consumer groups objecting to claims made that the stuff is "healthy", I forgot the specifics. Sugar is the primary ingredient; mix sugar and chocolate/cocoa with whatever nuts you want and it better come out tasty.
I can't afford it often, but cashew butter is freakin' awesome.

Copy and pasted from a previous post, but this is still the music on my phone right now, plus a few more...

13 & God, Amon Tobin, Birdy Nam Nam, Bonobo, Burial, Busdriver, Clouddead, Clubroot, Fog, Flying Lotus, Freestyle Fellowship, Gaslamp Killer, Hudson Mohawke, Moresounds, Mount Kimbie, Onra, Peanut Butter Wolf, Samiyam, Shigeto, Subtle, The Bug, The Thulsa Doom, Themselves
I know some of those cats!! Kudos to listening to edm producers and not just the jokeys!!!

These two points have me real curious what his day job is. Anyone know? He has all the characteristics of a broadcast personality. More specifically, talk radio... given the way he conducts mod Envy and his water off a duck's back attitude towards his haters.

Joe stated that he came from the adult "pron" industry and applied the online tactics to vaping, implying that the strategy was vastfully successful in growing his blog.. He denied that he was still involved in adult websites. Someone in chat seemed to think Joe has an ebay store. With so much vapor swirling around its hard to say.. But he did not deny now making money off his blog and did state that his percentages had to be cut down because he would break the bank of the" share a link" clients he is now accepting money from.

That derecho, or "Land Hurricane" as the Weather channel is calling it, is heading right for North East Ohio. We're in for a super stormy evening!

Land Hurricane... sounds like a bad SNL skit!

Stay safe N Dry!! Just dont lose your pants to those hurricane force gales! :D

in Tucson, possibly similiarly to Utah, we only have two seasons. summer (year round) and monsoon season (during summer)

Actually, I don't think I've ever been in a monsoon. I think it's much, much hotter in AZ than over here! I'd die!

whatever nuts

I believe it's hazelnut. that's why it's sooo goood. can't beat hazelnut chocolatey creamy stuff.

Nutella is best when used as a dip for things like pretzel rods, Ruffles potato chips, Oreo, biscotti and things of that nature. Nutella is used as a dip in my house... never a spread.

Why not? :O I bet it'd taste good in a crepe.

1: All I know about Nutella is that my children eat it for snack after school, I have tried it and didn't like it that much but I really don't like sweets.

On Another note about the vape drama, if I understand this right. A guy has a website were he posts up products that you can purchase for 1/2 the price of elsewhere, sometimes more sometimes less, and people buy it. Then some of these people are mad that this man is making money on advertisement while the customer is still saving tons???? Maybe they are really just mad at Facebook or Congress or something and venting.

Improbable Research

Which Came First: the Chicken or the Egg?

Alice Shirrell Kaswell, a staff member at the Annals of Improbable Research, definitively answered this question once and for all in 2003: The chicken, it turns out, came approximately 11 hours before the egg. Kaswell came to this finding by separately mailing a dozen eggs and one (1) live chicken via the U.S. Postal Service from Cambridge, Massachusetts to New York City. Both items, sent out on a Monday, arrived on Wednesday, but the chicken was delivered at 10:31 a.m., while the eggs didn’t arrive until 9:37 p.m. Problem = solved.

Reminds me of my favorite Texas weather statement.

Texas only has 2 seasons Summer and Winter, and they can often occur in the same week.

It's truly not uncommon to run the AC in the Daytime and the Heat at night several times of the year.

2: I have no secret to teach you, I never really cared for sweets. However throw some pork ribs or steak in front of me and we have a problem.

They are upset at him for his old claim that he did not make money from doing it.. He changed it at some point, but that may or may not have happened when he began making money.. I dont know. Its not advertising he gets paid for its the hidden clicks he get paid for when you click on a link to a deal.. A share a sale kind of thing..

3: True very true, mid 30's during the morning and 90 during the evening. 40/80 take your pick. Until the middle of summer then it is 75 low 110 high...

They may as well get over it. Guy has to make a living somehow. I'm just mad at him because I didn't think of it first. :D

5. 6/12 - I'm admittedly biased against Nutella due to the cause of their fame a year ago. They paid out over 3 million in a lawsuit due to false claims that their product was "healthy". I can't speak for the validity or intelligence of the party or parties that filed the suit, I read food labels and don't trust commercials. The fact that I don't care for the taste of it is totally subjective, but the settlement and their advertising/marketing changes since the suit speaks for itself. The primary ingredient is sugar, next is palm oil, hazelnuts are down at 13%. From their website : "ingredients: sugar, palm oil, hazelnuts, cocoa, skim milk, reduced minerals whey (milk), lecithin as emulsifier (soy), vanillin: an artificial flavor."

Lisa had it exactly right when she brought this up in the first place. The stuff is candy, it better taste good. With as much sugar and fat as candy bars, it should taste better than it does, IMHO. YMMV, etc, etc.
