5. 6/23 - I was looking at EH 18650 IMR 2250mah batteries, their specs are listed at 10amp max which is probably more than I would ever need. From reading the test results on cadlepowerforums, EH and EFest 2250mah batteries both seem to be using the same Panasonic cells. Ray sells EFest batteries at a decent price, that makes two more items in my VVV cart. 2000mah AW's are too expensive if they are close to the same specs as EFest and EH but less mah, IMO. There is a lot of hype surrounding AW batteries on ECF, but the vaping community doesn't seem to test lithium batteries like the flashlight enthusiasts. Apparently there are a large number of people who's hobby is super bright flashlights much like some of us attempt to push vaping to it's extremes. I would imagine there is a little crossover between the fields of interest.
I'm just looking for 18650 IMR batteries that don't have "fire" in the name. From what I've read in the battery section of ECF, the main concern with using lithium batteries is physical damage, overcharge/discharge, and stacking batteries. Common sense tells me that storing energy in a small container is probably dangerous in any form factor.
