I don't really fully understand the rules, but then again I can be a bit daft.

Your doing great. you can have 5 entries a day, just make sure to number them. You can post more than that but posts not numbered are counted as chat and can't win. Your on your way. Now you can make your second post. Oh I almost forgot you can't make back to back posts.

You are drinking coffee again!!
Remember, abstinence is best performed in moderation!

I have a plain Mr Coffee and Eight O'clock Coffee when I drink coffee, which is now ONE cup a day instead of 2 POTS a day

Needless, my tasted is coffee is very pedestrian... just looking for caffeine by drinking coffee.

No im have to take the ex wife to court for not paying child support.. The only one that'll get locked up is her.... haha ok BBL
g/l in court!! child support is not something that should ever be missed, its your children for goodness sake!!
CONGRATULATIONS - Nice ! ! ! :D AND - I'm actually happy for Both of YOU ! ! !

NOW - As for the discussion of "Coffee Makers" . . .

IMO - The best are still the simpliest to use . . . ;)

Which includes the "Chemex" - However, a Real "French Press" (A Good One - Not just one that is expensive garbage) - or a small "Stove-top" Reverse Pressure Coffee Pot
Epoca-PES-3306__150x150.jpg
are good choices too . . .:)

AND - Thanks to technology - I have only one simple requirement anymore . . .

That it has a timer so that COFFEE is "Brewed" just before I usually wake-up . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Right now "My" Coffee Maker is a - "Cuisinart® Brew Central™ 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker" - that I got at "BB&B" on Sale and with the 20% Coupon - so it came to $29.99 :) which was well worth it at that price and so far so good . . .

Oh - AND as for the brand of COFFEE . . .
ResizeImage
is at the top of the list - then it's a tie between "Chock full o’Nuts" & "Eight O'clock" . . .
Just Sayin' . . . ;)
love chock full o'nuts!!! and we have maxwell house premium right now, on sale for $9 at the market this week!
and, as another 'not-so-strange' coincidence, we have one the the cuisanart 12 cup auto brews and LOVE IT!!! had to reorder the carbon(?) filters a couple times, but other than that its a flawless machine that makes folgers taste like coffeehouse brew! nicest coffe make ive ever had, a house warming gift from my father :)

1.) Today is Ray's surgery. Thinking of you Ray and praying everything goes very well and they have you fixed up in no time.

RAY!! I hope all goes well today and that you are back on your feet in no time!! Warm and happy wishes your way!!
Much love from all of us to you!!

3. 6/24 - Good morning. Coffee! My last coffee maker lasted almost 20 years, and I'm not the one that eventually broke it.
Chemex.jpeg

It makes the best coffee I have ever had in my life. It's not the best thing for the clumsy types, though.

2) I love my Chemex pot. It has been my usual brewing method for years. It definitely requires more care to use properly -- controlling water flow and temperature are important for the best results.

Lately I've been using siphon brewing. It looks strange and intimidating, but I think that most people will have better results with a siphon than Chemex. There's less that can go wrong.

5. 6/24 - This morning, when I took the dog for his first walk of the day, I went down the hill to get the mail. It's been all uphill since then, pun intended. ;)

I'm trying to stay upbeat, but if today gets any worse... I don't want to think about it. I hope you all had a better day than me, RayN in particular.
