5. 6/26 - Chewing ice! Bah! Fruit juice popsicles are where it's at.

Which reminds me, it's smoothie time. :)

Edit: What's this? I know enough Spanish to read that one, LD. Lego castle, nice.

Boardo's bored. Schnarphy snarfs. Got an RDA? Try a micro coil, that's kill some time...
I made one yesterday, 17 wraps of 27gauge @1.3 ohms. It's just silly. Works great. :D

4. 6/26 -

We've all been assuming that the new day starts at midnight in your own timezone.
Ray has never said anything to contradict this, AFAIK.

I have assumed every daily entry contest works that way, unless specifically stated otherwise. If I'm wrong, I would hope that the person running the contest would interject. Clear communication is vital! I've seen many rules broken on a daily basis in a couple of contests and the host never says a word about it. It's nothing I would report to a moderator, but when the rules clearly state "No back to back posts!", and one person does that every day it gets annoying.

I don't like to point out the rules when nobody asks for them.
It's not my job, and it's embarrassing to play the cop.
In this case, you asked, so it's all good. I hope.

The daily post count does reset at Midnight in your time zone. However, I don't get upset if someone is making their 5th post slightly past midnight. This is really about giving away a tank, I just need rules to help me pick a winner and give it a contest structure.

For the people that place back to back entries (numbered posts) if one of those back to back entries came up on the random number generator, it would be an invalid entry and I simply re-roll until I get a valid winner.

It's not like they give us moderator privileges in these threads, we simply have the ability to close the thread when we're done using it.

As for pointing out the rules, feel free to point them out, especially to a new poster. Might help them keep from accidentally disqualifying themselves. Normally I don't have much time to spend monitoring this thread, because I'm usually so busy with orders. I try to keep an eye on it and keep it from getting out of control.

This thread is really for the fun and enjoyment of the members who like to hang out in here as well as a way for me to give back to the vaping community that makes this all possible.

I actually have a microcoiled Phoenix. Beginner's RDA... That's why I wanna trade my AGA-2... for something along the lines of a Chimbus of Phoenix V7 or Cyclone Clone... though the fair trade would be one of each, but that's a discussion best left to the Classifieds.

I really like the microcoils. #PLUMES

#3 I just bought a rebuildable dripper, just the cheap ones to see if I like it. Now I have to learn how to wrap coils so I can determine if its something I want to continue using. I like its performance and I like the idea that I can quit bleeding money on atomizers. I go through a lot of attys when I do diy juice testing. Plus, I've found that I really don't like joyetech attys. I thought they were great when I didn't know any better.

I think learning to wrap coils on a cheap atomizers is an essential skill for anybody who wants to move vaping from just a cigarette replacement to a bit of a hobby. Though I didn't really need to, I learned on a protank and it helped a lot when I moved from there to an Ody clone. I'm guilty of wasting an obscene amount of wick (both mesh and silica) and wire (NR, ribbon and regular kanthal) learning but it was well worth it in the end. I haven't owned a genesis but I feel that if they ever struck my fancy, I could pick them up relatively quickly.

i have a phoenix, just used it for the first time. i liked it. only hold a few drops which for me is just not practical. also, having to hold it straight up or it will spill. i also need to learn to rewrap correctly. id like to learn how to do a mesh screen coil, i have a small piece that came with it. (thanks U!)

Apart from the pre-rolling/oxidizing, creating the actual coil isn't vastly different from silica but I do think getting your silica coils solid are a great first step. The rolling/oxidizing gives you tons of options on how to do so (torching versus burning off PG/VG, hollow versus solid, 400 versus 500 versus all the other options) so it gets fiddly to find a good balance without a good degree of experience.I don't mean that in a discouraging way, it can be a lot of fun experimenting and very rewarding when you get things how you like them.

I'm guilty of disassembling a perfectly functioning coil in order to try something new just to expand my skills and get that warm fuzzy feeling in the end when it all comes together perfectly.
