Kitchen is cleaned, coffee is made, Emmy is in my bed, now waiting for Tommy to wake in the next 25-30 minutes to get to work so I can start laundry =] Going to search for desserts now!

Thanks, i have no clue how long this will last me. measured to 12%, as per Tina's mix, 2ml nic per 10ml bottle, this should make 600ml of juice? is my math off? i figure 1/4 lost to bad mixing or loss/spillage, maybe 450ml of juice? at an average of 5-7ml consumed a day, approx 2 1/2 months worth? if/when deeming happens ill up re-up on the nic.
this is like a huge experiment, not sure if i will like DIY, as i have little free time to devote to it.
Wifey will accept the package, and i already cleared it with her and got a green light to DIY as long as it doesnt get out of hand.
did i forget to order any essential items? i figure ill reuse some bottles i have as well



LOVE 6 flags!!! Which one did you go to!? is there one in VA? I remember going to the one in Jersey as a kid, so much better than disney!

Very nice, Sky =] I love the rides! ...have always loved the rides =] The scarier the better! I am afraid of heights and I have gone on balloon rides ALONE! Once I get to a certain height my legs just collapse and I have to wait until I get dropped BACK to that height before my legs will work again But speed and swirls and extreme drops... I LOVE IT! That should be my next vacation :/ I am going to have to plan for that

WOW!! Best Superman movie ever. I was the only one in the theater. Walked around counted rows and seats per row, did the math, and plopped myself down smack dab dead center of the screen. I put my feet up and as long as noone else was there I vaped through the whole movie. Must all be automatic now cause when I left some credits were still running, I looked back and you could see tons of smoke in the projector lights. LOL. If anyone was at the projector they would've known what I was doing and booted me out at the beginning of the movie.LOL

Yeah, I considered using the pressure cooker to steam with the first 3 dozen :/ But when I got to 9 dozen it called for the tamale steamer LOL

I didn't know there was such a thing as a tamale steamer. If I knew how to make tamales thats what I'd use too.

BUMP for Chic -

Glad the movie was great! I just send you recipe... Old fashioned 2 day and 1.5 hour method.

This is my 32-Quart tamale steaming pot:

It has about 2-3 inches of water under the steam rack and I set a steaming tray above that that I stack tamales on. Some recipes say 20 minutes, 30 minutes, to 1 hour to steam tamales, everything I use is cooked unless it is an egg to bind the ingredients, BUT I steam based on the number of tamales... I can get 10 dozen in this pot with ease.

I look at youtube for videos, but I see they spread the ENTIRE corn shuck with masa and I only do about a 4" x 4" section because I do not like to waste masa and have it just falling off and not around MEAT Then I see they put one spoon of meat in the center of the masa and I like to have meat from TOP TO BOTTOM of the tamale so I can see what the filling is when I look at it :/ Just some little things that I do that I see others just rushing through...

Sheesh! I went to wake up Tommy since I've been waiting for him to go to work so I could start laundry and he IS GONE! Two hours since I have been back from walking Emmy and waiting for him to wake up He must have left when I was walking Emmy LOL So... LAUNDRY IS ON!!

I'll have to try it sometime. Maybe I can trick my son and his wife to come over and help. I'll tell them I made lasagna, that will make them stop by. LOL

I have a 3 tier steemer, a huge electric chicken fryer with a huge steemer section I've never used and 3 electric pressure cookers. That should hold many dozens of tamales and blow some fuses.

Well, I found some good cake box recipes for those who are eggless XD It looks like I am going to make a cake and use a can of soda I am thinking a 7up/Sprite or root beer... haven't decided yet, still thinking about it

almost forgot saw a firework mis fire and explode under someones .... and it ended up looking like a road runner / while y coyote cartoon aftermath! everyone was safe and sound that's why we can laugh about it now! hope everyone's 4th was a little safer than those peoples!
