Can someone please tell me what to put on threads that make them smoother to operate that isn't WD40?

Food Grade lubricant:

Official Site of Petrol-Gel

There are other brands, I just linked this as an example. You can get that little tube for a couple of bucks, and it would last you, and every vaper that comments on this thread over 100 years.

Mr. Buzz-kill in full effect: This contest ended at midnight on Friday. RayN, the guy running this contest and owner of VVV, will be here in a while to announce the winner and start a new contest. Until then, you really don't need to number your posts as they will not be counted as entries. Mr Buzz-kill out.

Please read the contest rules

Rules:
Your entry posts MUST start with a number. (1,2 or 3 etc.) Please number your posts by day. (1-5 not 1-25)
The post must have substance though. Posts such as entry, or "count me in" etc will be ineligible for prizes
Only your 5 (per day) entry posts will be eligible for the prize drawing.
Un-numbered posts will be considered "Chit Chat" and not eligible for the prize.
Back to Back posting is NOT allowed for this contest.

Winner will be chosen by random number generation, based on the post number.

Contest will end Friday Night at Midnight Central time or at 2000 posts, whichever comes first.
Winner will be announced at the end of this thread.

As odd as this may sound, it was taught to me by my father and employed by me on almost all my new squeaky, dry threaded mods (including a K100 I just got) Dad was an electrician turned engineer for GE.. When squeaky or dry fine threads are in need of smoothing..... take and rub the exposed thread against the side of your nose.. You will pick up just enough oil off your nose to smooth out the squeaky dry threads.... works for me like a charm... I suppose there may be other parts of your face that may have more natural oil.... I guess it depends on the person.. at least its free.. ;)
