#4 Schnarph, the Jesus Lizard is another band I've seen live. Lollapalooza '94, to be exact. I really miss the 90's, just for the sheer volume of great rock music that existed back then. I'm sure people from earlier eras of rock music say the same thing about the 50's 60's and 70's (and 80's I guess.... some of it was good anyway) Don't get me wrong, theres still some great stuff coming out. Imagine Dragons comes to mind. And I absolutely LOVE lots of music from before my own time (The Beatles, The doors, Jefferson Airplane, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Joy Division, the Cramps, Johnny Thunders, David Bowie, My list could also go on for a VERY long time...). But theres just something about the music you grew up on that speaks to you.

hey everyone....hopefully better days are ahead. i got a tens unit today. i will learn how to use it tomorrow...and hopefully be able to stand or walk more than 15 minutes....so looking forward to it....hope it works well for me....

I hope that works for you! I was going to try a tens unit once, but insurance wouldn't pay for it. Still thinking about it. Let us know how it goes!

I've used a TENS unit, they can be quite powerful. I have a high threshold for pain, and turned it up too high for too long. Big mistake! You don't want to do that. Take it easy with that thing and it can really help you out. Good luck!

I have said it many times, HOUSE MUSIC ALL DAY LONG, SAY WHAT!?
#3 LOL schnarph! I need that t-shirt. My teenage step-son thinks I'm "awesome" which should give you some idea of just how far my mind is down the gutter.

 Primus!! Wish I'd gotten to see them live. Seen quite a few other 90's bands, but not them. Smashing Pumpkins (back when they were touring for Siamese Dream), Tool (3 times), Filter, Hole, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Beck, Pearl Jam, the Pixies, and a whole bunch of others, but I'll stop here. Wish I'd gone to see Primus though.
Primus was here a couple months ago on the 30th, was sad to miss them...

Thanks GMO, ive been reading it, but there are SOOOOO many pages!! how can i cut the fat and get to the percentages!? i tried going backwards from the end hoping someone brought the list forward :)

I've seen Jane's Addiction 7 times. They top the list of most seen. Primus follows with 5. Bowling For Soup and Van Halen both 3 times and countless smaller and not so small bands once or twice.

My favorite shows are always held in small clubs, though, one of the Jane's shows was at the Gravity Games the summer they released Strays. They played outside on a flatbed truck to about 2500 people in a small Cleveland park. No lights, no crazy back drops, no naked whores... No elaborate stage show they are known for. Raw. Gritty. In your face. It remains the best live show I have ever seen.

Cleveland has an incredible music scene. Its a good town to live in for someone who digs on real bands. Real musicians. Real performances.

Just ask Springsteen, or Rush, or Michael Stanley.

Sorry... I have a bit of a passion for music. Yes, even those artists Uncle and The Old Timers mentioned. Hey! Uncle and The Old Timers... Sounds like a great band name!
