Hey! Uncle and The Old Timers... Sounds like a great band name!

However, Who Are The "Old Timers" . . .

Hey, Tiggerrts...
Right Here, right now... there is no other place I wanna be...
Right here right now... watching the world wake up from history....

Used to love that crew!

I remember having to quit a band after the lead guitar bought a Mesa Boogie...
I don't care what kind of drug, me or the audience were on, I don't sound a damned thing like Perry Farrell!

I've hated Fifties Rock since I lived in the fifties. I guess that makes me an "Old Timer" but not a rock music fan. I prefer Jazz.

JUST OFF WORK!!!

1- sorry no way to catch up on 20 pages. Just got done making a marinade for seish-kabobs. Used pink grapefruit, lime, and pineapple juice, some soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, onion, garlic powder, some smoked paprika. Tastes superb, all eyeballed of course though. Doing chicken and beef kabobs, bell pepper, sweet onion, pineapple, and cherry tomato's.

OMG! That sounds GREAT! So sorry I threw out my grapefruit!!

Just found this thread. I love reading people's comments and will try to contribute :2cool:

hey everyone....hopefully better days are ahead. i got a tens unit today. i will learn how to use it tomorrow...and hopefully be able to stand or walk more than 15 minutes....so looking forward to it....hope it works well for me....

I don't know what this 'tens unit' is, even though several commented. I only wish you well and hope you get through it! You seem a magnificent addition to the VVV thread and I hope to see more of you, wandawag!

There are several others that are fairly new to the VVV thread and I want to say WELCOME!!!!

My most seen live shows are Pink Floyd 4 times, Bruce Springstein 4 times, ZZTop 3 times, and some others 3 times. So does that qualify me as a old timer?

OMG! We are of the same generation :p Madonna, Springsteen, ZZTop, George Michael, I can't remember all of them, let me just say that I was in college in the '80s LOL When I went to concerts, it was with a group of girls to see C&W artists... George Straight, Alabama, Clint Black when he was a 5' tall nobody crooning in Lubbock, Texas, OMG my girlfriends were into country and I was just along for the ride :p

Sonic youth 4 or 5 times over here.
Favorite show ever was a few years back i got to see echo and the bunnymen. Best show of my life.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

#5 I love Echo and the Bunnymen! One of the better bands to come out of the 80's new wave scene. And I saw Sonic Youth once, too. At the same Lollapalooza festival with Jesus Lizard. There were A LOT of really good bands at that festival. I saw Cyprus Hill at that show, too. Only rap act at a rock festival. They were incredible. That whole festival was incredible. It was my first big concert ever, and I won the tickets on the radio. I was 14 at the time and it was like I had died and gone to teen angst grunge rock heaven.

1) Here's some late-night viewing for the night owls. It's a review of three RY4s from the company that invented the RY4 -- Janty. DK RY4 is the closest to the original formula, Classic RY4 has a more distinct tobacco taste, and Elixir RY4 emphasizes the sweet notes. I've tried a few dozen RY4s -- classics (bright and balanced), modern (emphasis on sweets), and NETs (love me some naturally-extracted tobacco). For my money, DK RY4 is still the best synthetic RY4 out there and the one I measure all other synthetics to.
