Sorry about yer luck with chantix. I too am a victim of that horrible drug. It so changed my head's chemical make up that I am now on antidepressants and anxiety medications. I was never either one of those things until I took Chantix. Now... Yeah. You know the story!
That reminds me of this guy who was arguing with me about e cigs being "dangerous" and how his Chantix is absolutely perfect and completely harmless.
I guess the word you would use to describe him was "thick"

An apt description.

I used to tell people who were considering Chantix to avoid it at all costs. It is bad news, and 6 months later I was smoking again. In about a week, I will be smoke free for 10 months. You do the math.

I say "used to" because most smokers in my life have either quit cold turkey, or are now vaping!

Found this elsewhere on these same forums, but it is hilarious, so I figured I'd share...

Point of reference... Dihydrogen monoxide IS in our juices!

Facts About Dihydrogen Monoxide
I was told in one of my classes that my teacher had kids go around with a petition and get their neighbors to sign it. Apparently they got a lot of signatures!!

On another note, there was one thing I was sad to hear about my job today.
All of the residents have signed no smoking contracts so I won't be able to convert any smokers over :(

Another issue with Chantix(TM) is that it generally slows the synapses a fraction of a nanosecond. This may nor seem like much, but, try taking 6 drink orders, make 7 drinks, run the register and track 36 open tabs on paper while singing "No Sugar Tonight" by the Guess Who, all while every single electrochemical reaction of the brain is being slowed by 15%...

An apt description.

Rock on!

I tried that Chantix it worked for about 2 weeks and then the dreams really got to me. I was having flash back dreams and dreams of my doctor telling me how to commit suicide because it was the only way out. They were so real I was having trouble determining what was real and what was a dream. I was telling my wife about my dreams, she freaked out so I quit taking the stuff. That was over a year and a half and I still am having weird dreams from time to time.

Plus vaping is still cheaper than those crappy pills.

just wanted to drop by and let you guys know i had my first orientation day today at work, where I passed my drug test and became an employee :)

Congratulations! That is fantastic. In this economy, jobs are GOOD! More money for vape toys. I better settle down...but really, congratulations. I am happy for you and I really love to hear good news. Thanks for sharing.
