Reason: and I'm still blaming you, jac! No matter what you say!

I guess that make you and my ex-wife...

2. 8/21 - Enough ranting for now... back to one of the previous topics... I prefer the TH and flavor from lower gauge Kanthal (less resistance) to higher gauge, given the ohms are the same. More wraps over a larger space might heat up slower, but it doesn't burn e-liquid like very few wraps of 32 or higher gauge wire does. This only works in situations that provide enough room. YMMV.

Flavor and vapor chasing is a lot of time consuming work, not to mention the money. Disposable cartos aside, it's hard to beat the convenience of a cartotank. I don't leave the house without one. :2c:

Have you noticed a difference with tighter-packed as opposed to looser-packed wraps?

I usually don't leave the house without two or three carto tanks.

And, obviously, I'm not really blaming you, jac. You just gave me a very bad idea that I ran with. That would be my fault. :D I'm not complaining though. Not really. Just kind of astounded by my own ridiculous insane buying binge. I guess I should have gotten one sooner. All this delayed gratification BS has driven me bats**t crazy!

Hopefully I've cured myself of my own, previously lamented buying binge. I'm chasing the all mighty, perfect vape and I've only just started on this journey. I've dropped a boat-load in 6 weeks since I've started vaping.
I know you were just playin'. ;-)
Sorry for the ex-wife comment... I just can't pass on a good one-liner. :D

It's mostly common sense and logic here. If the wick can carry enough e-liquid to a smaller, hotter area than everything will be clouds. I vape some pretty thick liquid that doesn't wick that great, so I go with a larger area for coils. Kanthal ribbon is extra nice when it comes to covering more area. YMMV, obviously.

Someday I will learn this lesson first hand and I'm not looking forward to it. When I expect a prolonged excursion, I'll take a full cartotank, an extra mech mod, batteries, an RDA, and a bottle (or two) of e-liquid. If I hadn't lost my love for clearos it wouldn't be such a hassle. To each his/her own.

This reminds me, when are "we" going to get rid of the his/her thing and just combine it? How about "To ichi-zone" ?

You all is crazy! I thought I had buying and selling problems but TISH proved me wrong..

Then again TISH think of it like this. You have 4 Ea clones.... 4 EA clones equals one ea in terms of price.
That's all I got..

Schnarph Your knowledge is boundless it seems :p

JAC You don't need anymore Ea clones.. Use tish as an example :)

9 days ago my brass m16 clone shipped.. 9 days ago was the last time it moved an inch.. THis will be my final purchase from SLowtech..

I never leave the house for any extended period of time without backups for my backups and lots of extra juice. I am loving the convenience of the DCT and will be ordering at least two more from VVV SOON (I know, I keep saying it but I really do mean it)! One polypro and one glass.

I love my clearos but I do not like to babysit them as they seem to require. Leaking and flooding, flooding and leaking. I haven't gotten any of the new Kanger "one size fits most" heads yet but that is in the near future as well. These bcc clearos seem to have problems anywhere from 1/2 to 1/3 full. The answer? Keep them full. Yeah, I know. But sometimes ya just wanna keep vaping it all gone.

I have basically given up on the evods unless I just want to taste a new juice. I don't have a dripping system for that yet. My MT3S clearos have all tried to get on my last nerve. I thought I would never say that. I am still working with the PT2 and the Vision Victory bcc. They seem to be the best of the clearo lot (for me, anyway).

I think I have noticed a common thread to my complaints. I don't want to mess with this stuff sometimes. Sometimes I just want to vape. Much like I used to smoke: light it up and go. I wonder if it is the addiction rearing it's ugly head and whispering in my ear "A cigarette would be soooo much easier. Just get one and don't mess with all this liquid crap".

Normally, I love the whole vape quest thing. I get a kick out of the process as much as the nicotine. Just every little once in a while I get fed up and just want to vape without any hassle. Glad I found the DCT for those days. I DO NOT want to cave to a crave and I still have them in times of stress. Nasty cigarette addiction! I guess I miss those chemicals, huh? I don't miss the stink, that's for sure.

I've got to say I leave with extra batteries and just in case extra juice but only one RDA now. Maybe I'm tempting the fates but it truly feels liberating not having to take 4 carto tanks and mods.
One mod, one kayfun and 2 extra batteries in a battery case. Liberation. ...

2- If you have one of Rays large tanks, I would highly suggest the frosted glass if your mod can handle the size, it will make life easier. Only thing you need to do is notice when it is about time to change the carto. I know some have no had this issue, but I find the sidewinder not the best in the pocket tank.
I am notoriously rough on my gear, and other than some dings on the end caps, and a pocket full of juice from the sidewinder, no issues with his gear at all.

Seems a bout of depression has washed over me. Not sure if the trigger is my woes with my AGA-T's or the kids going back to school today, a combination of the two, or something completely different. All I know for sure is I am angsty and anxious and ragey and sad all rolled into one.

Manopause?

I need to pull out my Smiths cds... and some ice cream.

#1 I find myself listening to Depeche Mode, Nirvana, The Cure, Joy Division, the Pixies or the Stone Temple Pilots when I get angst-y. Nothing like "white horse" rock when you're depressed, I suppose.

Depeche mode and the cure are happy music. I seen pixies couple years back and man had the greatest time ever starting fights with people.
Recently like a year ago me and my girl watched a documentary on the pixies. It showed them right before the tour started and it changed my views on them forever in a very bad way... Can't listen anymore.

#2 I'm not sure I would classify them as "happy" music. As for Depeche Mode, I think its just because I associate their music with the time in my life when I listened to them the most, which was one of my most emotionally unstable periods (late teens, early 20s).
I really like the Pixies, so maybe I should avoid this documentary you speak of. Or maybe it won't matter to me. I think the music speaks for itself. I don't think you have to like the artist to enjoy the art.
