i get to leave an hour early from work today, and this time is much needed to prepare for the long weekend ahead.
did i mention we will be in PHX thru sunday, not my choice, but wifey has a friends baby shower to attend. ergo i have a sunday to kill solo.

Well my long day just got a little shorter. Wifey is getting out of the hospital so I get to leave work at 4:30 instead of 10. My holiday weekends will be spent at work, Sat, Sun, and Mon.

1. It's only 2pm and I'm fried. Went to CVS and the grocery store and that's it. The heat baked my brain.

#2 (8/30) Three days off -- time to travel the Yellow Brick Road - home to hearth and the recliner - set up the Vape Station for the weekend - probably will D-I-Y a few bottles so they can steep. Have about 240 ml that have been steeping for 2 weeks will need to give them some serious vape time this weekend.

I know what you mean. When I worked in health care (mental health care that is) I hated the split days off. You have errands to run, doctor appointments or whatever and it just doesn't feel like a day off. Three in a row is a VACATION in health care!

I didn't know that. So many people combine them these days. I haven't had a drink since 1984 so I just go by reports from my youngish friends. Some of the combinations sound totally revolting. Give me a martini or scotch and water anytime (before 1984 that is). I will caution my nephew.
