5. 9/3 - As to my previous suggestion for getting old flavors out of bottles, I rinse mine out with crazy hot water before and after the freezer. Some of the really strong flavors won't completely leave, but it seems to help. I was just following advice from somebody else on that, so YMMV. BTW, I don't vape mint or cinnamon flavors which might linger forever...

Anywho, goodnight folks!

Thank you for the tip, Schnarph. I am talking myself into some DIY mixing in the near future. So far, I have just been getting the ingredients. I am a bit gun shy but have no idea why. I know how to handle hazardous liquids and I can read a recipe. I guess it is just getting set up and doing it! I have to find a time when I won't be interrupted for an hour or so. That seems to be almost impossible these days. I know I am not that darn indispensable but it seems that I have to convince a few others of that.

1. 9/4 - Not quite out yet, but I'm sure I'll sleep like a log soon since it didn't work out last night...

You can get extra caps in any color Interpim, although you don't save much money that way. I can't say if cartotanks taste better than a Protank, that's subjective. I find that cartotanks are more consistent and rarely leak in comparison, but that is subjective as well. YMMV with all things (other than gravity), vaping is no different. Give a cartotank a try sometime... or wait until you win one.

I really like my larger tanks and I have only tried one cartomizer tank: Smok Tech DCT 6ml I think. I really want to try Ray's tanks. I have refused to buy any other cartos until I can order from him. I am getting closer and closer. Just have to stop ordering juice! I am thinking of an inexpensive dripper for tasting. Maybe just pull the filler out of a used carto and drip that way to taste new juice.

I find a little less taste with the carto tanks over the bcc clearomizers, but they seem to be so much easier for me to use. I am tired of the flooding/gurgling and leaking with my clearomizers. The PT2 is the only one that seems to be a consistent good performer, for me. I know others who have great luck with the evods and MT3S models.

Our posts crossed. I was typing and you were posting! I agree totally and, as I said, want to try Ray's in the very near future. I need cartos, I need a tank tool because I am such a sloppy 'filler' and I need some of his tanks. So there! Might as well order them all from the same place. VVV.

Glowplug,
Do you notice a difference in taste between the PT2 and the DCT?

Yes, I do. I think the PT2 has a clearer taste...don't know how to explain it other than that...a bit stronger but mostly just more 'crisp'. Now, I am not using boge cartos. I am using something that is probably a knock off, but definitely not a genuine boge. I have read others say that Ray's boge cartos are the best and they are a good price as well. Just haven't used up all that I have yet. Damn, I do hate being frugal! Or sort of frugal. I spend more than I should on vapegear.

I'm fairly impatient LOL... I'll probably order one once I get home from this current trip I am on. I'm stuck with the protank until at least the end of September... but I have no problems with the protank, no leaks at all

If you have a fairly dedicated space, it doesn't take,e long to mix a cpl of batches.
I did 8 sample batches in 30-min this afternoon. It helps to have an e-liquid recipe book that has a calculator built in on a tablet or laptop.
You can make up the recipes anytime then mix them in free (ish) moments. ;-)

Don't be scrrrrd... you can do it!
