went home for my lunch break. forgot that wifey now has another baby she takes care of during the day. as soon as i walked thru and attempted to make lunch it was: can you do this, can you watch them, can you get me this, can you can you can you....
i dont mind at all, and i am not sour over it. i had forgotten the addition of little Tetra to our household 3-4 days a week, and i was quite hungery. i did tell wifey before she began watching the little lady that it is her gig, and i prefer to not have to help, its not my responsibility its hers...
is that rude? she understands, i fear she will get burnt out quickly though. hard enough with one tiny kid, now two is a lot more work...

I've got two little ones, I know how both of you feel...
There is a compromise... " let me fix my lunch then I'll watch them while I eat. If they need anything it's all you..."
She gets a moment to use the bathroom, change the laundry...etc... you still get lunch in a timely manor...

I don't know your lady, but it did work for me with my (then, but not now) wife...

I know appearances on a forum can be deceiving but, you seem to be a very active parent and partner. I doubt you will not help out. Doesn't sound like the 'you' I have come to know.

I know I sometimes do that to DH when he comes home from the truck. I just hit him right between the eyes with the things I cannot get done on my own. On the other side, I KNOW how much I hate when that happens to me. Let me get in the door, put things down, take my shoes off, get a cold drink and just rest a minute. THEN, tell me all the stuff that I need to know. SOOO, I try really, really hard never to hit him with anything but "HI, I missed you, can I get you a glass of ice water, do you need help getting stuff out of the car?"

It is difficult sometimes because I am running around, chasing my tail and I all I want to do is yell HELP at the top of my lungs. I have found that a few minutes of consideration makes a huge difference in whole day. Maybe sharing this with wifey will help a bit. You were starved, she was overwhelmed. You saw food and a bit of a breather, she saw a savior. Gotta get those two perspectives more in line with each other and still make everyone happy getting their needs met. It can be done. Just takes both sides working on it.

I've never tried any type of bread juice, but i have heard of people vaping banana nut bread. I'll get around to it eventually. So many flavors lol.
If you are interested, ill happily make ya some :) i like it, but my first batch wasn't strong enough, i gotta up the percentage.

Compromise i am good at. and I am happy that she has taken this on (tho i didnt ask her to) it keeps her busy, she make a little (very little) money, and doesnt have to part with the boy. i just needed to lay out my boundaries so that she isnt loading even more things on top of my full plate.
#2 LD, the PB&Banana juice is from Tucson Vape Escape. Went in there yesterday to grab some business cards for the vape group. And you are not asking too much when you don't want to take care of the kid she is babysitting on your lunch break. Thats her gig, and she is being paid to do it. Taking care of kids is a big job, but she signed up for it.

My swamp cooler is not working today. My landlord went up there yesterday because he noticed that there was some water coming off the roof, and now there isn't, but there is also no water getting to the pads. Its just blowing hot air, which is not particularly comfortable. I've had more problems with the swamp cooler at my new house in the last three months than I had with the AC at my old house in 4+ years. Its getting a bit ridiculous.

See you guys a bit later. Gotta get ready for work.
Thats how i feel, its her gig, not mine. granted it hasnt become an inconvienance yet. on mondays and tuesdays i have late days from 12-9pm. the kid comes over at 630am, i told wifey i didnt want to be woken up early to help out with the kid. i need my two days to sleep in (tho with Levi, i rarely get to)
And i feel ya on the swamp. my house is constantly above 80 degrees and so humid that sweat beads just standing in the kitchen. its awful and i cant wait for it to cool down. i dont forsee us spending a third summer in this place.

4: I have never been able to understand how anyone say's they love summer better than spring, fall or winter. I can put on more clothes if it is too cold, and it hardly ever is, but can't shed off enough in the heat. A few guys have told me they love summer because of the clothes that woman wear when it is hot. I have asked them all after waiting for month's, so where are they? My guess is sitting inside with the AC.

If I lived near a beach, perhaps I'd enjoy summer a bit more... spring and fall are my favorite seasons, weather-wise. Summer rocks for beaches, pools, camping and amusement parks.
