stressin the the max.
i wanted to have fliers made and ready to send to the printer yesterday by close of business.
i have two people making them, one is much more experienced, both have worked go me before.
i awoke to two AWFUL fliers from each person. they need to make it to print today so that i can have them printed shipped and in my hand to start promotions at an event on thursday.
both graphic designers work till 5, the printers close at 5 for the weekend.
this sucks.
is this worthy of leaving work? i have no control at this moment over them, they were late, and under peroformed.
do i rush to spend a few hundred dollars printing an inferior flier?
do i wait till monday for a "SLIGHTLY" better one and risk missing the opportunity to promote at two BIG events here in tucson.
i cant miss these two shows, i must have fliers for them.
i cant concentrate, i actually quite mad.

#4 My vapemail is being packaged as we speak by the runner for the co-op (my brother) and will hopefully be on it's way to me tomorrow! I got a 15ml bottle of a very nice tobacco (a contest win) yesterday. My boyfriend has already laid claim to it, so I don't expect to get very much of it. Not complaining, though. At least I am finding some new juices he likes.
I have contest juice for ya.
The Hoochie WaWa juice from Schnarphs contest! (Thanks S it came yesterday!) Im gonna split it with you, which is convenient that it is in two bottles!!

That is too cool.... it looks like a bird chasing a bug....
1- Morning all, two more day sifts then I am back to working nights
On another note here is a video from the second flight of that new plane last night, the next flight went a little better after some adjustments.

yeah, its a pretty big obstacle. i need the fliers asap, i must have a strong presence at these upcoming shows. in the meantime i am limited to online promotion, which will not fill an event.
no solutions yet.

It's Double the work but at least you are not really wasting the HUGE Amount it would cost to print flyers you are not happy with . . . Just a Thought . . .

THANK YOU - "Sweet Lady" . . . I really appreciate the thoughts, especially when I am traveling by plane - but I am more worried about "My" safety around here in Florida with the way the people are driving on the roads then being in a plane or even driving in and around NYC (Where it is much safer and I can usually handle anyone's driving there) . . . Just Sayin' . . .

the quality of the fliers would be really low, but it would assure that every kid leaving these two events has flier.
i think it would be costly tho. kinkos and the like charge a lot for double sided color printing w/card stock. but at a 1/4 page and maybe 20-25+ cents a print would come to $75 - 93 + tax. might be worth it. the cost of 5000 professional prints is 132-160 depending on rushed production, 10000 for 235-280
erghh.
maybe i can find something cheaper than kinkos. i do have a friend who works at a print shop, but she may not be willing to help out (her husband is a prominent dj, and is not involved with the show, or my last two shows, and as a result def holds a grudge)...
maybe i can get a quickie 1/4 page made up, single sided on colored card stock, black ink only. this would come out to 12-15 cents a page, wouldnt look as good, but we could make it not terrible. this may be the best idea yet. $45-56 + tax

#1 9/6. If I can get my chores done today I would really like to start on making a lanyard that would fit my Zmax 3. I really don't see large lanyards out there. of course anyone that know of ones for these big guys let me know.
