Chit Chat . . .

1 9/12

Uncle, after you save every thing to disc or external drive, go to help and type in "restore factory settings". I've had to do this several times to several computers, because my kids would pick up something bad now and then.

Thanks for the suggestion - but not going to happen . . . I checked for the "Restore Factory Settings" - Na Da - Nothing . . . AND - The way I am being attacked by unwanted spam something has got to hidden somewhere . . . Now before anyone say anything - I have used CCleaner, 4 Different Anti-Virus/Maleware/Phishing Programs (installed in computer) and 3 Online versions (which did find at different time approximately 52 Trojans and the like) . . . AND - Then Cleaned out all OLD System Restore Files - Checked the registry for and any/all left over thing associated with programs that were UN-Installed (I do use "Revo Uninstaller" for that) still having problems . . . SO - All I see left to do is a "CRASH & BURN" to wipe the hard drive and do a complete reinstall from the start . . . Which I know is going to be - Absolutely Horrendous - task that I am not looking forward too . . .

fantastic, thank you both!
I have not used or even seen either of these. not sure why i didnt contemplate a different program!
do they work the same as Word?

What "boardopboy" - told Ya' . . .

@ "Interpim" - If I am not being to bold and there are that many copies available - I wouldn't mind a copy of 2010 . . . :D

Not at all! Uncle doesn't even like the subject. :p

BTW: It's not that I don't "like" the subject (Oh Yea - "You" should know I have learned a lot from reading "Your" and other's post on the subject) - it's just that I never ever thought I would have to rebuild anything - nor do I want to . . . One of "My" major frustrations with all this, beside not finding an ADV - is that not only is a lot of this still very confusing with all the different terminologies and what goes with what - but nothing and I mean nothing - works with anything else unless it is specifically made for that version - then I get just get lost . . .

Worse thing is that I cannot just go to the store and purchase what I NEED like I did with Cigarettes . . . Does that make any sense . . .

2: I will soon be off to the ER with one of our kids, I am thinking strep throat. Might be gone for a long while.

Hope everything works out and it's not strep . . . GOOD VIBES . . . being sent . . . :D

2- I did sort of fly my newest scratch built plane today, had a good run for about 30 seconds or so, then splat, nosed in, little glue and sticks and she is good to go again, storms makes that a stand by until tomorrow hopefully.

More Videos Please . . . :D

3: Thanks all, we are back but the test was inconclusive. We will get information on what it is Sunday, so some antibiotics, pain killers and a little pump up medicine. ECF would not allow the last one to be spelt out.
I have seen Lisa, you can PM her if you look her up. She will be back in time.

4. 9/12- Rebuildable atomizers can make vaping far more complicated than it needs to be.

On a VVV related subject, I loaded my cart for the second time this week, forgetting once again that Ray is closed during his wife's recovery from surgery. I hope she's doing alright. :nun:

Posted in the main thread:

Just thought I'd pop in to say wife's doing fine and everything went well.

Uncle...
The reformat/reinstall isn't difficult but it is very time consuming. You need to give yourself 4-6 hours where you can keep running back to your computer to click yes or install something else. You have to download your hardware drivers or you could run into trouble, though.

I saw you're back... hope the kiddo has a quick recovery!

Am I the only one who has no interest in rebuilding coils? I'm pretty much satisfied with my current setups, and I don't want to fiddle around with my equipment any more than I already do.

Vaping need only be as complicated as you want to make it...

NO!!! I don't wanna do it, but my boyfriend does it for me.
He gets a little frustrated with me because I haven't made an effort to try to rebuild my own..

well.. I think of it as similar to rolling your own cigarettes. You put in some work to save some money (and sometimes improve quality because sometimes the coil received is iffy. "just sayin")

5. 9/12- Rolling cigarettes does not compare to torching SS mesh, rolling it, wrapping a coil, testing the ohms, dealing with hot spots... I used to roll cigarettes without even looking at my hands unless I used a filter... just sayin'

Poke a couple of holes in a carto, prime it, and stick it in a tank with e-liquid... that's easy. Clearo's are even easier (when they don't leak), vaping doesn't need to be any harder than that. IMO, once you're rebuilding you've made vaping a hobby. :2c:
