:?: Please do, especially since I have heard it is usually the other way around and a lot of people are allergic to PG and need to use only VG . . .

Yeah, me too. But after vaping 50/50 for two weeks shy of a year... Having my lungs wig out a few days after moving to 85% VG seems a little more than coincidental.

Been hitting nothing but 50/50 for the last 6hours... So I'm hoping I feel better after a nights rest.

I have been vaping 100% VG for months with no issues. I just started taking that down to 90% VG a couple of weeks ago with no noticeable difference. YMMV doesn't come close to describing this situation.

The heavy lung feeling might have something to do with how much you vape in a day. Maybe it's the VG or possibly something else. Best stay on the safe side and stop doing whatever it was that coincided with the lung problems.

This reminds me of a bad one liner (paraphrased): I told my doctor "it hurts when I do this", and he said "don't do that"

1. 9/17- Still PIF til Christmas Eve...

I spent many years using various asthma inhalers in my youth, even nebulizers. They all use PG as a carrier and I never had any issue. The body can make strange decisions on what it considers to be invading it. Depending on the amount used, many things can go from acceptable to producing allergic reactions. Vaping 3-4ml of 50% - 60% PG daily could have been too much after decades of being relatively PG free. I thought my skin problems were from PG in my sweat (it happens), even though there were no other signs indicating an allergy. At this point I think it was a coincidence and what was really happening was dry skin from bathing in extremely hard water for a couple of years. I'll slowly increase the percentage of PG over the next few months and see if it makes any difference.

Some folks can't have any PG at all without serious mouth, throat, and lung irritation. I've heard about the "heavy lung" problems others have with high VG e-liquid. Some folks have no issues with either, only certain flavorings give them allergic reactions. Whatever happens, if it hurts stop and go back to what was working. Now that I know how to deal with eczema I can "experiment" with PG/VG ratios, but if breathing became harder I would take it very seriously. :2c:

2. 9/17- I'm going to try this "sleep" thing that everyone's doing. I've heard it's great.

Used a few inhalers too. Not much since I stopped smoking. :)
The need for them stopped before I started smoking. If I kept smoking for 25 more years, I'm sure I would have needed them again, assuming I lived that long. Hopefully I'll never find out. :nun:

I guess you did. Not all. They will announce the winner Oct 1st
It would be much more fun if "they" waited until the end of the year. :p
