checking back in!

I've had my Vamo 2 for about 4 months now, and the only issue I've had is the black chrome rubbing off. I'm going to fix that with a Jwrap when I get home, but for the most part, it's been a solid mod. I've been thinking about getting another one just to have as backup, or maybe "shrinking" it with a kit, or a little DIY... my wife would probably choke me out if she knew I wanted to buy a brand new mod just to break it in half LOL

You can still find the Vamo V1's under $30... I wouldn't spend $50 to tear it apart...

I'd rather get a DNA20 board and make a puck mod from it...or a dug-out... :2c:

So i was contacted by the alleged house owner that was trying to rent me his property.
i played very naive and tried pressing him for info. he only wanted to text and i knew at that point he it was a scam. after exchanging 20+ texts, i told him it sounds good and asked him if a realtor was also trying to rent his property for him. he said no, i said i saw it listed on their site, he backtracked and said yes 'initially' i asked if i could call the realtor and would they verify him as the owner. he reluctantly said yes, i said i would contact them and i'd want to speak to him before i submitted any info (application) i didnt hear back from him after that.
i knew it was too good to be true. first indication was at 1130pm when he texted me saying good morning!

1) Lotz (not lox, which is DELICIOUS!) to respond to.

2) i keep mine in my sock.
if theres a will theres a way :)

3) the first vape company i worked with was a local, organic and unique vape company named HoliSmokes. They sell and make proprietary 100% VG liquid and use various plant extracts to produce effects. less emphasis on flavors and more on relaxation, stimulation, sedation, euphoria, arousal etc.... needless to say, it doesnt work. Well, you may expance some relaxation from one juice, or VERY mild stimulation from another. I hate to say it, but the juice tastes awful, like Vaseline and eucalyptus. I am not bashing on them, as i am still close with them (i pray they never read this) but with 0nic only, and hard to vape juice it was not popular with my crowd. They werent trying, and dont try, to sell as a cessation device. But rather a mood enhancer with hippies and yoga studios and ethnobotanical enthusiasts and their target demographics. There are true to their hippy roots.

1) Be Very Careful - There is a Moderator on ECF that everyones shortens his name to "Lox" - and that statement just might get Ya' into trouble if taken the wrong way, especially by his "WIFEY" who is also a Moderator that everyone calls "Jazz" . . . Oh and BTW: They Meet here on ECF Singles thread when it was around and got married - I think 2 years ago too . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

2) YEP - There sure is . . . AND - Some people would be totally amazed at where some people carry their APV's . . . Don't Ask . . .

3) Least Ya' forget - "Old Hippie" type here - Been There Done That - A Long Long Time ago, as with most of the "Natural" Stuff "We" used back then too . . . Incense - Aroma Therapy - Scented Candles - Etc. . . . Even had and used "Eucalyptus" leaves in vases and "Hyacinth" plants throughtout "My" apartments . . . AND - Now all of them make "Me" sick today and most of the time I cannot breath them at all . . . Worse for "Me" right now are the Cologne/Perfumes that not only people use - but are in so many products, including some that I have smelled in "E-Liquids" . . . :(

AND - While I do try and take a "Holistic" approach to "My" health and Well Being much more NOW - than Then . . . There is an awful lot of "Stuff" I will not try anymore . . .Especially when it comes to putting certain thing into "My" Body - particularly those that I need to breath into "My" Lungs . . . Matter of fact, the only thing I can use in "My" home right now that has an "Odor" to it - is a few of the things in the "Fabreeze" product line or something that is citrus based . . . Nothing else at all, even when Bleached (or White Vinagar & Baking soda) is used to clean stuff, I need to wear a face mask of some kind and then leave the apartment until it dissipates . . . Now, although I am quite hesitant to say this - the "Funny/Sad" thing is - AND this is very hard for a number of people to believe - I have no problem with Cigarette smoke (even having COPD, Asthma, Allergies, Sleep Apena, etc. and take a minimum of 3 different medications to help alleviate the problems) since usually it does camouflage almost everything else for "Me" enough that I could actually breath better (and always has too . . . Yes - Not Good - However Very True) . . . . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

EDIT: As someone (If I remember correctly - "tiggerrts") so eloquently states . . .
"Getting Old Is Not For Wimps" . . .

1: Good afternoon all.
If you have two vamo's you can take the extension sections and put them on one, and stack 18650's. This is some power.

Okay Then - Please let "Me" know when you decide to do this so I can move away . . .

Haha Unc!!!

Lox - smoked salmon - nova - amazing on a bagel with a shmear

I dont think he will take offense :)

I finally got the revised (ill have to check it over) contract from my headlining dj from New York: FRANKIE BONES!!!!
The fliers are finally due to arrive TODAY!!! 5000 fliers to spread over arizona!

I get to order the plane tickets tonight, fortunately he agreed to a layover, originally he wanted a direct flight from Newark, but they only go to phoenix and i would have had to send someone to pick him up for the 2 hour drive. also, the direct flight to phx is about 3-400$ more! so he saved me money, and him a 2 hour drive each way!

I am so excited for this show! It is by far, in my 10 years of throwing events, the most expensive single stage production i have ever put on!

3: The vamo allows you to go up to 6.0 volts, one 18650 battery fully charged only puts out 4.2. People stack 18350's all the time, what is wrong with stacking 18650's? If they were stacked and you hit around 3.7 the "battery" life would be for a loooooong time.

I'm not that familiar with the control board in the Vamo, but I would imagine stacking 2 18650's besides being unwieldy may have issues with the circuitry. Granted the Vamo goes up to 6v, but can the board handle the stacked voltage and regulate it down to the voltage you want? I would imagine that the board may handle it for a little while, but eventually will die from the excess amount of current/heat.

I'm basing this solely on my knowledge of electronics, and not the Vamo, so take it how you will. I've been vaping 3 1/2 months, but I've been working on electronics for over 17 years.

I've run stacked 350s in my Vamo. In fact, that's the only way the Vamo will hit it's true power potential. It limits out around 11.5 watts on a single battery. Don't quote me on that number. It's been a long time since I did my Vamo research.

Being regulated, it is safe (NOT RECOMMENDING IT) to stack 18350's in the Vamo. V2 anyway. I've not read anything on the V3.

ETA: Stacking batteries in any mod comes with risk. You do so at your own risk. Don't blame me if you come up missing an eyebrow. Or worse.

There would be nothing wrong with it as the voltage would be the same as stacked 18350's which if I remember right it is designed to use, if its not then don't read past this point. The run time should be twice as long as a single 18650. The voltage to the atty would be whatever you have the Vamo set to. I may be wrong but I don't think I am.

But it would be like vaping a damned 6-cell Maglite!
