I fixed my car a/c, the a/c in my classroom got fixed, and the rain cancelled my daughter's school band show for the game. Happy, happy, happy. I've actually been comfortable all day and now I get to sit in my comfy chair instead of metal bleachers and read ECF.

quick question.
if a person requests and is granted a religious holiday off from work. is it 'legal' to force them to use vacation hours to cover the day off? vacation time was not requested.
i call bull......

My initial thought LD will be no, but different states and companies have different laws.

LD, if they consider it a "personal" day, then I think vacation time would be standard usage. However, I am not a lawyer, human resources manager, or a demon from hell so I don't know all the nefarious loopholes.

its stupid, and a matter for HR, its not like it was missed work. it was religious observance. and to take away the last vacation day is like a punishment.

But being a "personal" day it is usually up to the employee to decide whether to be compensated for that day or not. I have done it and seen it done by others without vacation time being used. Again I state though each state and company is different.

Tigger, yesterday you talked about your RY4 + DLD recipe. I noticed that you specified Asian RY4. What's the difference from regular RY4?

I get my concentrated flavors from the Perfumers Apprentice, if memory serves me correctly there are three types of RY4 to be purchased. The Asian variety is the one I chose based on the descriptions by the company. One said it had a floral note, so no for me, another stated it had a hint of fruit, so no again. The Asian is stated to be more caramel flavored and I went that route.

Okay, the Asian ry4 at WL was listed as being less sweet, so I assumed less caramel. I think it was TFA flavoring. If you add DLD, that would make up for it, but now I'm second-guessing what to order.

My bad, the description was on another vendor site. Wl doesn't tell you much of anything.

What is the flavor profile of RY4? I have heard that it's a sweet tobacco, but I think what I want is more of a smoky caramel type flavor... really rich and full of flavor.
