#2 Thanks, jj2! Everything is fine, other than being catastrophically broke. Never thought I'd say this, but I hope I get called in to work tomorrow.
Just got caught up with all of you. Uncle, glad to hear you arrived safely. jpf, sorry to hear about you and the wife (or was that the other thread? No matter). Hope you both get to feeling better. LD, the offer to get together and build coils still stands. liblue, sorry your allergies are making you so miserable. I totally know how that feels. schnarph, sounds like you need a new job, a hot bath and a good massage.

#1 Another way to handle that would be to stop somewhere you know they all like and get yourself some takeout and bring it home. When they ask where theirs is, say "Oh, sorry. I figured you had already eaten." Makes the same point, and probably less likely to get you in trouble.

coffee's not doin it j.o.b. (unlike me, well dressed at at my desk)
trying out a new doo with my locks, even shaped up my beard last night.
And yes i did!
Made a 1.5ohm microcoil (my first one!) using 30g wire around a drill bit. took some time and patience to get all the wraps to touch. kept heatnig it up and squeezing with tweezers over and over again for 20+ min. had to do it again when i tried to tread a doubled over piece of silica. the ohms were jumping all over the place from 5 all the way down to 1.5 while i worked em together.
It works well, but my airflow is poor. this morning, at Tish's advice i took a corkscrew to the hole and widened it ever so slightly and it improved. Someone offered to drill it out for me, and once my igo-w comes in from the mainland ill ask him to do both.

I wish I could go back to sleep.....It's not even 10am and I am physically tired...My brain won't let me(it's full of snot)...and there is so much to get done for the weekend.....I am taking a ton of Vitamin C-1000...I hope it kicks in soon......maybe more coffee will help....

I have a full day tomorrow of dancin and socializin and thought it was 'bout time to drop some of my scruff.
Tomorrow is an all day park party from 10-7pm, 10+ djs, all of whicha re my friends and some of which are on my label. i love these potluck park parties, we have a ton of people show up, dance, eat and be merry. also, i get to bring the wifey and kid and he can play with the other little kids!
after the park party, one of my favorite house music djs (you should look him up) Charles Feelgood, will be playing a 3 hour set downtown at the rooftop club, the playground. With a perfect balance of sexy, jazzy, deep and tech house, Feelgood got me into house music over 10 years ago and has always been one of my alltime favorite djs. Stoked to see him again.

Got my Frogger today and it's vaping great!
1.8 ohm micro-coil with 1mm Twik... It wanted to flood, just a bit w/o that silicone ring (which I could not install) so I put a small twist of cotton on top like a PT flavor-wick. It's working great at 9-watts!
