2- Been working on some aircraft, and got a new one in to build as well :)
From left to right, my scratch build wing without any covering, bottom covered with motor mount attached, top of same, and the next two are my new quick and easy builds for a tiny fast as heck plane :)

i get outta work an hour early today. wifey is going out with a friend to the bars tonight. so it will be just me and the boy :)

the only annoying thing, is her friend is taking her there, i have to pick them both up. so at 2am (hopefully earlier) ill have to wake Levi from his adorable slumber, put him in the car seat and head downtown to pick them both up, drunk and slurring and acting obnoxious.
drunk people are not fun...............................................................................................................unless you too are drunk

but i'd rather do this than have her drive after drinking.
and i am happy that she is going out. she doesnt do it enough :)

1 I'm officially a Texas resident today. Did my license and registration! Finally got my check from my company about 3 weeks late also and cashed it.
Checked the mailbox for my first vapemail and was shocked to see the mrgoodvape package so fast. Dude sent me his entire line(thanks in part to RPAD and his instagram page) and I'm vaping some karma cream in an rsst right now. Pretty good stuff and it's possible the first one I try is a rebuy.
Received my honey do from HHV which is IMO something everyone who loves honey do should buy. Immediately......
Finally received a replacement glass for protank2 which came semi broken, which my girl officially broke last night.
How y'all doing!!!
Now as I've been saying I just need my guns.

do you feel bigger?
sorry, bad texas joke...

happy to hear you are settled in. and congrats on your win!
i have had terrible luck with the protank. ive broken two, the threads on the bottom, one broke off the other bent...
i have two and get crazy dry hits from both, granted i havent fiddled with it much.
hows the job search goin? fwiw, i worked at sprouts farmers market in produce for a couple years and made more hourly than i do at my desk job, and started with full benefits which included free pet insurance. along with all the produce i could eat, and a lot that i couldn't. i was in great shape while i worked there. the reason i mention it is because i was hired on the spot when i submitted the app in person.
i forgot, where in Tx?

Richmond which is south west of Houston. About 30 miles out.
My lady has broken 1 protank glass, 2 protank bases and now 1 protank2 glass.. It came out of the box with a slight crack but it was workable till she dropped it outside. The vendor as always hooked me up with a brand new glass so lets hope she doesn't drop it no more..
I've applied for a few jobs and my next stop is Krogers full time hopefully. My brother is a big name in Krogers so maybe he can give me a little assistance though my resume speaks for itself..
I honestly don't need to make bank right now, just get settled in and get back to paying bills..
I feel bigger in terms of what I'm saving already by living here..
My insurance in NYC for 1 car was 117$ and here with full coverage for 2 cars it's the same..
It's also very quiet and that pleases me tremendously from the noise in Queens.. I see a ton more NRA stickers and that also comforts me like you wouldn't believe..

10/04 Entry #2 . . .

#1 Another way to handle that would be to stop somewhere you know they all like and get yourself some takeout and bring it home. When they ask where theirs is, say "Oh, sorry. I figured you had already eaten." Makes the same point, and probably less likely to get you in trouble. :D

 Always takes a "mother" to know what to do . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

Welcome to Texas MrPicC!
Now change that ECF location before I start making fun of you. :p
Seriously though, my family was flipped off many times down here for having a "I heart NY" bumper sticker. That attitude changed after [date I refuse to type or discuss online], but it's coming back thanks to many of the same reasons you moved. I still like many cultural things about NYC and that won't change, I hope you know what I mean. Nice place, but I wouldn't want to live there... too expensive.
Regarding my own personal gun ownership... I live in Texas don't I? :p

This reminds me of a slogan on stickers and T-shirts thank to ACL and SWSX...
