It's laziness that often gets me. I look at a tank and say to myself, "It didn't taste bad, so I think the coil can take another tankful." Later, I'm amazed at how good everything tastes when I finally do put a new coil in. :?:

I'm the same way. I have a lot of toppers, but sometimes I still run out of clean ones!

I've been doing the same thing except working on going from 24mg to 18mg.
It's going to take awhile though - the 18mg ain't doing it yet.

Cutting down my nic has not been a priority for me (until now). I figured as long as I was off of analogs, I was doing great. I'm going to try the 12, and if it doesn't do the trick after a while, I would much rather go up in nic than go back to analogs any day. Best of luck to you at cutting yours back! =)

My approach to nic reduction is randomization. I'm mostly at 12 (I still have two bottles of 24 that I used to mix up when I first started vaping, but those are slowly being used--mixed with 12--in my less efficient Evod tanks), but started ordering 6-9 mg 6 months ago. I keep a smaller collection of "active" juice bottles in my vape drawer with the rest stored in a larger shoebox. As my stash of 12 mg dwindles, I've been mixing some of the lower nic bottles in there. I purposely don't look at the nic level when I fill my tanks. Some tanks go a little faster than others, some seem stronger--but eventually I'll be out of 12 mg without really knowing it. At least, that's the hope.

Count,
That is a great idea and I could see how that could effectively work! I like what you said about not looking at the bottles at times. I think I will give this a try. Thank you.

Since starting out vaping, just about 3 years ago, I felt I needed the strongest nic content & throat hit I could get and that was 36-30mg/80-20 pg-vg and that really helped rid my cigarette craving and I also found the WTA juice @ 24mg really helped me and from then on, I never desired a smoke again and now it's mostly about flavors for me & have gotten my nic content down to nothing above 12mg but hovering around between 6 & 10mg now and still love the higher pg and do mostly 70/30 or 60/40 but do also like some 50/50 juices but I've found all along that I prefer the higher pg levels overall & that's not really for the throat hit value as much as I find the flavor better for my taste and the bottom line is, I've found that it's all about personal preference here with this vaping because what's right for one in all of this, may not suit another, just saying! :vapor:

I viewed my "Since I Quit" app. this morning. I looked at it constantly at first for encouragement, but now I don't look at it but every few months. Here are my stats:

I am 2 years, 24 weeks, 3 days 19 hours, 40 minutes and 53..54...55 seconds free of cigarettes.
By not smoking 36,072.82 cigarettes, I have saved $9117.41.

I love vaping and the ECF community.

I was just sitting here wondering how vaping could take up so much of my time...lol. I feel like I am always on Ecf reading and talking to people....it sure is a lot of fun. I don't think there was a forum for smokers....I guess no one wanted to talk about how cold it was outside smoking!!! In reality, though, I always think I met a lot of fun people when I went out to smoke. My girlfriend at work used to come out with me even tho she didn't smoke because we always had such a good time. I guess that is why this forum is so much fun because it is filled with all those fun people who used to smoke but now we can talk to each other from wherever we are!!

I started vaping at 12 mg and still at 12 mg....I think it is perfect. I do have one 6 mg here waiting to buy a sub tank and battery to use with it but the juice will probably disintegrate before I get the stuff I need
I wouldn't worry too much about the longevity of the juice as long as you keep it in a cool dry place. I have some bottles that are nearly a year old of flavors that I'm not as fond of anymore and they are still good (although, to be fair, I have not compared them to fresher juice). A couple of these bottles are the 24 mg/12 mg juices that I mentioned owning in my last post and are still perfectly vapeable. Of course, your mileage may vary....
