My approach to nic reduction is randomization. I'm mostly at 12 (I still have two bottles of 24 that I used to mix up when I first started vaping, but those are slowly being used--mixed with 12--in my less efficient Evod tanks), but started ordering 6-9 mg 6 months ago. I keep a smaller collection of "active" juice bottles in my vape drawer with the rest stored in a larger shoebox. As my stash of 12 mg dwindles, I've been mixing some of the lower nic bottles in there. I purposely don't look at the nic level when I fill my tanks. Some tanks go a little faster than others, some seem stronger--but eventually I'll be out of 12 mg without really knowing it. At least, that's the hope.

I'm in the middle of nicotine reduction. I started ordering all juice at 6, when starting a month ago I was at 12. I have some that are 10 and 8 from combining and I'll probably keep at least one flavor higher than 6 to help me reach the reduction. Less than 2 months in vape I still have experienced a cig craving. Instead of hitting a higher nic vape I just chain vape the lower level. Plus I know when (or if) I start sub ohm I'll need a lower nic. So lately I have been trying to vape away all my higher nic, or at least combine it with something. This forum has been great for learning.

I was just sitting here wondering how vaping could take up so much of my time...lol. I feel like I am always on Ecf reading and talking to people....it sure is a lot of fun. I don't think there was a forum for smokers....I guess no one wanted to talk about how cold it was outside smoking!!! In reality, though, I always think I met a lot of fun people when I went out to smoke. My girlfriend at work used to come out with me even tho she didn't smoke because we always had such a good time. I guess that is why this forum is so much fun because it is filled with all those fun people who used to smoke but now we can talk to each other from wherever we are!!
In addition to weaning myself from cigarettes, then nicotine, etc., an additional thing is ECF. I adore the forum and everyone I've met on it, but it has been a huge time sink: the first thing I do in the morning is turn on ECF; throughout the day, while I'm on my computer, I'm checking ECF; when I get back home from running errands or doing something with the family, I check ECF; when I'm done with the day's work and it's time for dinner, I take one last look at ECF.

ECF may, in the end, prove harder to quit than smoking...

Lol...I think your right. I don't know what color shirt my husband had on today but I could tell you what flavor everyone is vaping and what mod and tank they are vaping it on.

Cutting down my nic has not been a priority for me (until now). I figured as long as I was off of analogs, I was doing great. I'm going to try the 12, and if it doesn't do the trick after a while, I would much rather go up in nic than go back to analogs any day. Best of luck to you at cutting yours back! =)

Good luck to you as well with the reduction.
For now the lower level nic is going in the drippers but still using 24mg in the tanks (and some of the drippers). Yeah I drip 24mg but I have cut it back a bit.

What's better than two vape mail packages? Three vape mail packages, and they are all at the PO waiting for me!!! :D

4 vapemail packages in one day is the best I've done - 3 in the morning and another in the afternoon - that was a couple months ago
theoretically it could happen again this week - have a bunch inbound
having a lot at once is cool but it's also nice to get a little each day
would be great to get a lot every day

With all the fancy tanks, RBAs, RDAs, and VV/VW devices that I have it's kind of amazing that I still use a cig-a-like type set on a regular basis. I keep it in the bedroom and use it to take a few puffs while getting dressed in the mornings. Low maintenance and it still works - hate giving up on stuff that's still functional.

Which cig a like do you use? I actually like to use them in the car while driving so I don't have to fiddle around for the button. I wouldn't mind one that works a little better than the cheapo I have. On mine you have to drag so hard I feel like my cheeks are going to cave in and then only blow out a teaspoonful of vape...lol.

I built a tank holder out of the box for one of my Subtank Minis. I used the hard sleeve, cut up the sides of the inner box for dividers, and then cut the foam into squares to fit inside each section. Before I put the foam squares in, I used a 3 mm screwdriver (could have used a drill, but I was too lazy to go get it out) to poke a hole in the center of each for the 510-connectors of the tanks. I misjudged the dividers a little, so one row can only hold 18 mm tanks instead of 22 mm, but all in all it came out well and holds 8 tanks.

ECF is why I'm lazy about rebuilding my coils and cleaning my gear. It's sort of like potato chips. I'll read just one more post, then I'll clean tanks. Over and over. The next thing I know, it's time for bed/dinner/errands, and the tanks never got cleaned.

I only got two yesterday, the third one didn't get here yet, so at least I still have something to look forward to on Monday! :)
