So....I have a question and wondered if any of you have any first hand experience about what works best. It's a beautiful day out, first one we have had in a few weeks. I'm driving down the interstate with the sun shining on my TERRIBLY VAPOR FILMED WINDOWS! This car is a year old, never been smoked in and it is definitely vape film. Go to clean it with regular windex, etc. and it just bunches up in a sticky, smeary mess. I've heard a few things like vinegar, a razor blade, lemon pledge(?!). Has anyone successfully removed this with little hassle? Have y'all went down this road? It's terrible looking. I can't wait till spring when I can crack a window without freezing. Cleaning windows is not fun as it is.....
I don't know the answer to this question. I was just going to try breathing on it (for moisture) and wiping toward the side of the window to get the majority off and then using windex to mop up after most of the streaks are dealt with....

That is what I love about vaping.....I always vape in bathrooms......that's why I don't want clouds. Went to dinner last nite...nice restaurant and bar for cocktails...off to the bathroom I go. Inlaws basement ...I would have been laughing all the way up the stairs!!!!

I just ordered some 3m glass cleaner from Amazon. It is made for cars and will clean anything off. It's about $8 but it lasts a long time and no streaks. I can't find it around here in local stores....maybe if you went to an auto store or a truck stop they might carry it. Hope this helps.

Do you have a link for that?

NOT AN ENTRY -

RainX makes some stuff that you can put on the inside of your windows to keep them from fogging up, and it works well for keeping that film off your windows - for a couple weeks at least. Gotta reapply it after awhile.

Thanks so much for the input! There are some good suggestions here!!! I am going to try to attack them while it is nice outside this week and I will let you all know how it goes. Sir may have the right idea...windows can never really be clean! I may have to stealth vape in my own car and blow it carefully out the window.

I don't know why I didn't think the vapor would leave a film on the car windows. I am not in my car that much especially in the winter to notice any film. Now I am wondering if I am going to wash my walls down in my house"...............my hubby and I usrd to smoke in the house many moons ago and we used to paint the walls every 2 years because they would get a film on.....probably stank too but we were immune because everybody we knew smoked in their house....lol ..heck the centerpiece on the coffee table was a big old deco ashtray...it was huge and probably held 4 packs of ciggy butts. Those were the days!! Pretty soon we will have all our mods, tanks, and juices displayed for center pieces instead of in drawers and shoeboxes.

I try to keep my windows open when I vape inside... then, of course, I actually am in a place with the climate for that sort of thing. I never smoked indoors (well, not in this house, anyway ), so that was never an issue--but it just seemed strange to keep going outside to vape.

One other thought on the windows: what about asking at local B&Ms? They, after all, have plenty of vaping going on indoors. I also suspect that they prefer to keep their windows clean. Just a thought...

That's a good idea but would you believe there are 2 b & m stores near me and they are both in malls....no windows but I'm sure they have to keep their glass cases clean. I guess in pa so far they are allowed to let their customers vape to try the juices plus there is a nice size vaping bar and lounge in one of them. They are small malls but it surprises me that they operate out of malls. I think when they opened vaping was not in the news like it is now and they have a lease. I live only about 10 miles from NJ and I had a gift cert for a vape shop in NJ and that one was in a big mall...probably for about 6 months and they either had to move or not vape in the store so they moved out and went to a small town in Pa but they still sell their e juice thru a gift shop in that mall because of their customer base...they have 3 or 4 stores in a 40 mile radius.

It would be nice to have a bunch of B&Ms around here. There's 3 that I know about. One I haven't been in - Heard it ain't much and they have weird hours. 2nd one is limited on what the have and I was impressed. The third one is fairly new and has a nice selection - supposed to be getting more. Juice in all is 0mg due to Japanese laws.

Asking at the B&M is a great idea, Count!

Yes, Ladybear, it is only slightly annoying and WAY less annoying than the smokers film that turns everything yellow. I have not noticed anything in the house such as mirrors or picture frame glass with this film and I am sure it is only because I am doing it in a small enclosed space with no open windows (this winter, anyway). I have heard the higher the VG, the more film it will produce in this manner. On a positive note, it is the only annoying thing I have found with vaping in 30 months! :D
