Weight issue! I'm surprised how light it is...

Certainly not around here, but I've heard people in other parts of these here forum complain about the weight of the Grand. Granted I'm a 6', 200lb man, but this thing is way light for a mech. I've been lugging around my magneto with a similar capacity 6ish ml carto tank, and the REO feels way light in comparison. Fits better in the pocket too.

To reiterate, I friggin love this thing

Saw a pic the other day of a Vamo with kayfun on it. The guy was bragging about how well it worked and looked. Ugly, heavy, VERY long, top heavy, tubesteak. I wouldn't be seen sucking on the likes of it!

I think the weight and size of the Grand are pretty much perfect. Fits my hand and I squonk with my ring finger.

Any of you ever hold a Itaste 134? Talk about a mod that's actually HEAVY! lol That thing always looked cool to me but wow what a lead weight it is. I think the grand is perfect, enough weight to tell it's well made but not so heavy as to be a burden to hold and carry.

Ya got that right turp. When ya got the 134 in your hand, ya got a handful. I don't take it out much, and when I do, it's in it's case like a gun or sumptin. It's more of a house appliance, like a toaster or a waffle iron. You don't carry those around do ya? I take my Provari when I go. Don't know nothin bout these Grands ya'll are talkin bout. May need to get me one.

best regards, larry mac

p.s., don't know about this "squonkin with the ring finger thing". Sounds kinda ...!

You'll get the hang of it in minutes, if you do get a Grand (and you should at least try one). If you're a Provari + Tank guy, the weight won't even change. My ex-provari + carto tank weighs as much as my Reo, almost to the half-ounce.
