Weird and astonishing throat hit.

I've been using the same 901 atomizer all week but yesterday for a reason I can't explain the throat hit got magnified by about ten times. It literally made my eyes water. It tastes nice, but the only way I can describe it is like a cold fire has been lit in my throat, and the throat hit itself lasts for about 20-25 seconds.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Every once in a while I'll get this too, from my 801 and my 901. Not always, but sometimes. I have noticed that it's always with a freshly charged battery.
