I have been having some weird dreams lately. I usually don't dream, and usually don't remember them if I do dream. I now remember all my dreams and I'm having them all the time.

Last dream I had was that I had a pet rabbit, but completely forgot that I had a pet rabbit because I kept him in my entertainment center, in the closed cabinet located with the DVR cable box. I never turn the cable box off even though I turn off the tv and I'm sure it gets pretty warm in there.

Either way, I forget I have this rabbit and when I remember, weeks have passed. I open up the cabinet, and let the rabbit out of the cage. It's all skinny and weak, but pulls himself out of the cage. The water bowl is dry, so I fill it up and set it down for him to get a drink. He pulls himself to the water bowl and take a few big gulps.

I take a look in the fridge for something for him to eat. I'm the typical bachelor and never have any fresh vegetable in my fridge, but my crisper drawer is loaded with lettuce, celery and carrots. I pull them out and make him a small salad. He eats the salad and hops towards the sliding door that goes to my back yard. I figured he saw outside and wanted to be free rather than go back into the cage.

Then I woke up. It felt so real, I went into the living room to check if I actually had a rabbit.

It's probably b/c you are getting more restful sleep. I slept so well when I first quit smoking b/c I wasn't waking up in the middle of the night jonesing for a smoke and I was getting more oxygen.

I always have weird dreams (think like alien abductions, end of the world...need to stop listening to George Noory me thinks) so this didn't change when I quit smoking.

Have you had a dream where you are smoking again? I had those in the beginning and the cigarettes in those dreams were so. darn. good. I'd wake up wanting a cigarette until I thought about it and remembered that cigarettes never tasted that good as they had in my dream. In my dreams the cigarettes were like plumes of air wafted upon me from pegasus wings.

Hmmm. Time to lower your nic?

I had really bad sweaty sleeps and terrible dreams when I switched. Then it went away. Now if I tape a lot in the evening with high nic, I will have the same. However, if I use lower nic in the evening, I sleep better.

You kill some animals growing up due to lack of care? LOL. JK ;)

I can't put up the type of dreams I have, I would get banned!

Your dream is telling you your forgetting about analogs and your feeding your self vapor to be big and strong and then walk out the door into the world of smoke free. Lol

Rabbits eh? I dream about rodents too. In my dreams I live in several places, and for some reason they all have a cage with guinea pigs, rats and mice. When I finally have the time to return to a place, the rodents have all multiplied, so the cage is VERY full, but they are still alive. I then spend a lot of time feeding and watering and washing them, and wondering what to do with all these animals. By the way, my furniture is always infested with mice (nowadays only in my dreams fortunately).
When I dream about smoking, it is always about explaining to other people how e-cigs work. But somehow I never seem to be able to screw the different parts together to get a working device so I can demonstrate it to them.

If I've had a lot of nic I'm almost guaranteed to have a zombie nightmare. I say nightmare but it's never scary to me while I'm dreaming, just disturbing to think about once I've woken up.

Why zombies, I don't know but it's what happens.

I've always been able to remember my dreams when I wake up but they don't tend to have a common theme like this. As long as it's not a spider nightmare I'm all good anyhoo.

Lol. Not going to guess the meaning of the dream (but thanks for sharing)... poor rabbit. However, that type of dreaming is called Lucid Dreaming and is a symptom of too much nicotine at night.

It's frequent when using nic patches instead of e-cigs and keeping the patch on at night. I tried that when I tried the patch...(tried off at night too).

Anyway... what gets even more interesting is that some people claim they can consciously control the dreams when they are lucid. IDK. I'm in the "you need to reduce your nic" camp, before bed in particular, with along with most of the above posts. Sweats are another indication of too much nic.

Also, make sure you're flushing your system out with enough water... or that there isn't other health reasons that cause you to over-nic.
