weird... just plain weird!!!!

Strange phenomenon has been happening, I am a primary wow peppermint user and have no issues with tanks and this juice. However, I am using chocolate peppermint due to the lack of inventory of my all-time go to (hint hint) and it is causing my manual xl diamond batteries to have a crazy short cut-off time like 1 or 2 seconds. It has happened with other juices and I assumed it was the cart but it is definitely the juice. I can use an ego batt and no problem nice long draw. Has anyone else ever experienced this or am I just lucky? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

kyfatherof1 my first thought is that it is the XL Manual Battery not the juice. Are you using a 1.5 ohm tank carto? Some of my "stick" batteries shut off because the amp limit is exceeded using the tanks. The 1.5ohm cartos have a variance of + or- .2-.3 ohms. It is possible the carto you have is on the low end, 1.2 or 1.3 ohms and the XL manual battery isn't able to power it.

BHam, you would think that but i have been using the same set up on gear since tanks 1st came out. I have not had the issue with the peppermint. like i said, weird

Just spoke with Wade, try adjusting the post, it may be the carto isn't getting the right connection on the battery.

Kyfatherof1 sir unless you're using the exact same cartos as the ones you had straight peppermint in you aren't using the exact same set up technically. There was a batch of 1.5ohm DC cartos with an unusually high amperage draw (which have since then been fixed with the latest batch), have a feeling that's the cause....

Does the lower ohm mean easier draw?

Zdaddyl (sir or Ms.?) no. Lower ohms means more wattage. Draw is determined by the connection on the pv itself (both type and hole size and position), and the carto or atty itself. Cartos with looser wound polyfill will have a easier draw than one with a tightly packed one.
