I started vaping because I found out I was addicted to the delivery method along with the nicotine in cigs.
I've been vaping for over 40 days. In that time I have quit tobacco flavors and reduced my nic level from 16-18mg to 6-8mg, learned to refill cartomizers, and purchased my first drip tip (should arrive Tues)
The smell of analogs bugs me and I question why I ever started smoking to begin with.

BUT.... I found that the smell of coffee (coffee aisle at WM) sends me into a full blown nic fit! Go figure. I don't drink coffee.

So... anyone else experience this or other weird triggers?

For me, this is/was normal. I always associated my morning cup of coffee with my 1st cigarette of the day. Scientific evidence exits as well:

"Smell (or olfactory) memory refers to the ability to recognize different odors in your environment. Some olfactory memories are unconscious, for instance, you may recognize a rose’s fragrance without remembering when you first encountered one. Other olfactory memories are conscious: they revive specific scenarios or emotions from the past." (When a person loses his sense of smell, does he also lose any memory associated with a smell?: Scientific American)

I recently posted that "I tried Dekang 555, I knew the flavor was spot on (i.e. it brought back memories)!" Olfactory memory is a powerful thing!!

My mother was asking me just last night if I HAD to have a smoke or my e-cig when drinking coffee, as she realized that she absolutely can not drink her coffee without vaping like it's going out of style. Granted, she vapes like crazy regardless, but it's interesting how she associated coffee directly with nicotine intake, then this thread pops up.

It's not so bad for me as I always have/had my first cigarette in bed before my eyes are completely open or my feet ever touch the ground. By the time I get my coffee poured I'm already on my 3rd-4th smoke anyways. My big thing is I can't I can't get to my smokes and/or E-cig fast enough after eating, and I can't put them down while watching college football.
